Non RB heavy leagues (1 Viewer)

How does everyone handle leagues where the values of QB, RB, and WR are closer to equal?

For example, using the DD, the league i am a part of (12 teams) has:

4QB in the top 25, 3 in the top 12 (first round)

12RB in the top 25, 6 in the top 12

9 WR in the top, 3 in the top 12

Brady has the 2nd highest VBD, Peyton 9th.

Randy Moss has the 4th highest VBD, TO is 7th

Scoring:

Passing Yards (40 yards per point; 1 points at 300 yards; 2 points at 350 yards; 4 points at 400 yards)

Passing Touchdowns (6)

Interceptions (-2)

Rushing Yards (15 yards per point; 1 points at 100 yards; 3 points at 150 yards)

Rushing Touchdowns (6)

Reception Yards (20 yards per point; 1 points at 100 yards; 3 points at 150 yards)

Reception Touchdowns (6)

I am used to leagues where a majority of the first round picks are RBs. Would you pull the trigger on Brady at 3? Moss at 5? TO in the first?

Because most owners draft RB heavy, there would be a good chance that stud RB's could be gone near the end of round 2.

opinions?

With only 1 pt/20yds for WR, it seems like you would have less in the top 25. Most leagues have 1pt/10 yards for both RB/WR and still add 1 PPR to even out the scoring between RB/WR.

This is kind of a TD heavy scoring system based the reduced scoring for yardage. I would target getting the top combo of QB-RB-WR or QB-RB-RB in the first 3 rounds (not necessarily in that order).

If you think that Brady projects to 40 TDs you almost have to take him at #3. Personally, I think 35 is his number. At 35 he still maybe the pick..
