Jokes about tackles, balls and fly-halfs were bandied around as England and New Zealand clashed in a rugby match with a difference.

Two 15-man teams faced off for a spirited match in Dunedin... with both sides completely starkers.

The 'Nude Blacks' and a team of English players played an hour-long game as a hilarious, unofficial curtain raiser to today's second Test.

The Kiwi squad performed a traditional Haka as hundreds of curious spectators watched on.

The amateur players did not bat an eyelid as they tackled, mauled, and passed the ball while completely in the nude.

Those in the stands, including many foreign tourists who had travelled to watch the real Test, gasped in amazement and many snapped away with their cameras.

The light-hearted game took place before the much-anticipated clash between the real England and All Black teams.

New Zealand sealed the series in a narrow one-point win, with Chris Ashton touching town in the closing seconds of the game.
