NYC cornhole/dork convention anyone? (1 Viewer)

Otis and Chase planning a 6:00 arrival.
And what time departure?
Unfortunately for me, early. I've got a date in the Evillage at 6pm wif a chick. No, I won't bring her along.
Your date is at 6?
Oops. I meant 8. :lmao:
 Cool...Are we still meeting upstairs? At the downstairs bar?
I'm not sure, now that massraider said he's working the main bar. I have no idea how this place is laid out.If you're lost, go to the main bar and ask for Scott (massraider). He'll be able to set you straight.

:goodposting: to Scott Norwood for putting this out there to begin with...to MR for playing host (Don't forget paper backup, dude!) ...to Chase for talking some FBG's shop and loving blondes(with the exception of #11)...to Otis for asking that hostess to marry him..."Right now!"...to Alias for making me feel welcome from the get go...to you, "Braves fan" (I forget your ####### name!) for trying to keep us Mets fans humbled...to TU for not only looking like he and his avatar were twins seperated at birth, but for welcoming us to his BD bash and taking us on an uptown tour...and to Koya for bringing that GW doll that we burned in effigy ;) and seeing to it that this FLID got his wasted ### on that train when he did...

It was kick well worth duplicating. And I'm in for that NYC league if we give that a go! :banned:

This was good times - and I have the feeling not the last. Good people, everyone. Although I was too drunk by nights end to remember who was who.

And wtf is the guy in the yellow shirt (not hat) again?

Massraider - much thanks for "hosting" the event. Cool place. Hook me up with the cokehead blonde please. :banned: Actually, just get me with some of the 19 year old stoner girls... more my speed and I can get the good stuff.

The Brunch idea is a good one btw once football season comes around.

Oh, $100 or $150 buy in for an ALL NEW YORK LIVE DRAFT HAS TO TAKE PLACE. Lets set a date.

PS - Glad you got on that train Glock.

And ouch to the latenight McD's that I really didnt need.

INgood times, glad to meet everyone - how was the b-day party on the east side?glock thanks for showing up so that I didn't have to be the oldest of the bunch

Unfortunately, in our collective drunkeness I believe we forgot to take any pics. Thanks to everyone that came out. It was a great group. If you missed it, I'm sure we'll do one in the future, so make sure to get in on it.

Massraider, thanks for hosting. The bar was filled with girls in bikinis who had amazing boobs and poopers (damn, we really should have gotten pics).

Otis's marriage proposal was definitely a highlight. This gets my vote for the most awkward exchange of the night:

Norwood to random blonde: "have you met my friend Koya from the internet?"

Random blonde:  :ignore:

IM SO F'ING PISSED I MISSED THIS! My friends said we were going to AC so I came home and then they backed out. I ended up at some random bar here in SI but I was pissed cuz I really wanted to meet everybody.

Definitely a real good time, was glad everyone came out and I'm glad I made it, even if I had to leave early. Did I miss anything awesome?

Did Wyldfox ever make it in? If she showed with her boyfriend, think Otis could take him?

I'm totally up for doing this again some time.

Now that we've broken the seal on this thing, I imagine it'll be easier in the future.

Guys, please don't ask me to hook anyone up with #11, I made her cry about 3 hours after everyone moved on, so I doubt I'll be much help there. Apparently, 19 year-old Croations (Croats?) are very sensitive.

Koya, good talking to you. Still recovering from the revelation that there are Jews on Long Island.

Chase, thanks for the the inside scoop on the FootballGuys staff

mytagid = Math.floor( Math.random() * 100 );document.write("

Mr Dodds, I'd like a lifetime subscription to FBG, or I go public with the knowledge that you have a tattoo of Scott Baio on your left bum cheek *** SPOILER ALERT! Click this link to display the potential spoiler text in this box. ***");document.close();

Mr. Norwood, nicely done setting everything up.

Hopefully, we'll be able to get Righetti, Tremendous Upside, and the rest of the NYC boys at the next one.

Went to the Park after the cornhole last night. Ended up drinking a bit more, and left my cell phone in the cab home. :banned:

Not going out tonight after a long week.

:unsure:I ended up going out to dinner with you-know-who in the EVillage. Walked across the street afterwards to a bar and we got completely trashed. She caught up to me and then some -- could barely stand at the end of the night, so I carried her out in to a cab and headed back to her place. Got up this morning and walked over to Madison Sq. Park together to sit in the sun. Was a nice day. Now, even though this will be like the 5th night of annihilation in a row, I am about to head out to meet up wif chicks and get drunk. 475%

You guys may recall a certain dollar bill I donated to the girls efforts to get into TU's buddy's pants near the beer pong table at that bar...Jake's Somethingorother it was called. After that bill was "offered" and summarilly rejected it wound up stuffed into my shirt pocket by one of the girls- crushed into a tight ball.

I want you to know that I made my weekly payment to my ex in person on Saturday with that bill right smack on top of the pile. If she only knew where it had been. A symbolic gesture and pyrrhic victory is true, but it still tasted sweet.

[hijack]Loaded up the truck and dragged my popup to Plymouth, MA Saturday night and spent all day today rockin' the harbor in my sister and her hubby's 24 foot sailboat in 20+ mph winds. A full day's worth of sweat tacking and jibing washed down with a boatload of Heine keg cans...

  :lmao:

Otis- and any other camping FBGs: in the A.M. we'll be headed up north for a weeks worth of hiking, fishing and chillin' in the White Mountains of NH.

Eat your hearts out. :lmao: [/hijack]

Probably Jake's Dilemma - I love that place. Really pissed I missed out on the post happy hour festivities, sounded like fun. I went to the LES last weekend (7B to be precise), damn I need to go out there more, seemed like that other post was true about that area. Tons of available wimmens everywhere. What kind of hiking are you doing? Sounds like you have a friend with a cabin - enjoy.

That was it. Tons of tail up in there... :bye: And NOT too crowded. ;)

As for the hiking? Real tame stuff this week. But it's all eye candy up there which helps keep it interesting. We want hiking to be a part of our lives here on in, and our 8yr old set us back a few years to that end. Eventually we hope to do parts of the Appalachian Trail and trails off Mt.Washington again. Backpacking some of it as well...

Like alot of things, it won't happen then if you don't keep it going now.

Preseason football starting soon. Brunch/bikinis/Bloodys on tap.
I can definitely see THIS happening for me at least a couple of times this year......you just need to guarantee us Wi-Fi access so we can keep tabs on our leagues. :goodposting: :bag:

Good stuff, I used to be an avid hiker - I hiked from Franconia notch to Crawford Notch once, I think it was a 2 or 3 day hike. The AT is a real nice trail. If you ever do it, do not do what I did in taking what looked like a shortcut (it was a switchback), I thought I would save myself an hour or so taking this switch back off of the AT and it was a nightmare, huge elevation drop - I really learned a lesson in reading maps after that.

GB topography! :lmao: That's awesome. The notches are a goal of ours as is Mt.Washington. Gotta live young to stay young.
