Did Wayne really complete that play? I mean REALLY complete it?
Exactly....There is no possible rationale explanation why that is a catch and Calvin's was an incompletion. I guess if the defender would have taken him to the ground it might have been an incompletion?

I see they put Bradshaw over on Freeneys side and he gave him a little bump with his should as he passec by. Gilbride adjusting his gameplan. :coffee:

Diehl doing his best Alex Barron impression tonight.

That's not fair actually, Barron atleast cheated to stop the guy, Diehls just letting him by.

If wayne had caught that for the win in the last minute...no way that's a catch. Instead, they missed it on the field and the Giants didn't even care to throw the flag. No way was that a catch though.

Ha! Call timeouts with 5 mins left down 38-7. Brilliant! Maybe they could get Eli fully killed.

Chris Collinsworth said it was a catch because he did not go to the ground.

It's pretty simple, really. The rule is that if you go to the ground, you have to maintain control of the ball the entire time, which Calvin Johnson did not. Wayne didn't go to the ground so it's a completely different situation.

Eli is going to cost me a victory in one league, or at least have me in position where a lose is very likely. Should have started McNabb.

Less of a catch than the Calvin TD last week.
:coffee: Wayne =TD

Calvin = no TD
Calvin maintained possession of the football for twice as long as Reggie. If Reggie would have been pulled to the ground would that have been an incompletion?
RECEIVING NO YDS AVG LONG TD Calvin Johnson 4 45 11.2 16 0

RECEIVING NO YDS AVG LONG TD

So the defender should have knock Reggie's butt to the ground? If I recall, the going to the ground rule does not differentiates between being hit or not.

Thanks to an awesome coaching job by the giants to not use Bradshaw the same way Houston used Foster, I now have to rely on Crabtree to actually do something significant tomorrow.

Well, at least Eli didn't lose us points tonight. Although, threeish points from a QB is often times a death sentance.
Tell me about it. I survived today. I had Campbell and Eli starting in a 2QB league. Campbell was pulled at the half and still had more points than Eli.

Damn...that meaningless play just scored me about 12 points...
That clown fumbling the ball cost me my game. My opponent had the guy who stripped and recovered the fumble in our IDP league and also had Nicks. Went from having it in the bag to needing a miracle. Just take a knee, shesh.

Al Michels mentioned something about Wayne staying on his feet where CJ went to the ground. I guess that makes a difference. IDK I have CJ and it suct
