For those of you who have followed certain teams/players all year on film, is there anyone visibly wearing down in your eyes? Have you noticed any players, units, or teams showing a tendency to give up or stop hustling like they did when their team had more to play for?

Sam Bradford.

Not so much wearing down as just not progressing. The guy seems to have in fact regressed and doubts are growing even among loyal Sam supporters whether he is going to be "the guy". Honestly, If I could, I would happily swap Kaepernick (among other lesser heralded draft picks) for him.

It's been a two year trend for him now though. He's not nearly as much in the limelight as Mark Sanchez, but not too different situations in terms of a promising start followed by regression. To be fair though, Bradford (or Sanchez, for that matter) doesn't have a lot of receiving talent around him, so it's hard to progress without a lot of help.

I think HC and OC are fine with this game manager approach, which is a problem in today's NFL unless you have someone like Adrian Peterson at RB. Way too much reliance on dink and dunk passes to little Amendola who will continue to get clobbered and miss time if Bradford just keeps going to him again and again and again in traffic. Bradford did this when he came into the league, and I guess this crutch approach is fine as a rookie but in his 3rd year he should be doing a better job of spreading the ball around more and deepening more of his passes to back the defense off. I don't know if Quick isn't figuring things out or if they are just babying him, but he needs to be more involved. It's been disappointing that Bradford hasn't come close to joining the top QBs, now in his 3rd year. I really expected a lot more from him by now.

The Jets are a black hole in regards to motivation, talent and everything else, but that's not really news...

A few things to consider.Coach Fisher is a defensive oriented coach. Bradford may have limited upside by design and philosophy. The Rams have a lot of draft picks in 2013 and new weapons could really change things, particularly upgrades to the offensive line.It is possible that peoples expectations of Bradford may be too high based on a promising rookie season, but an offense that has not really added much around him.I was reading the other day that the Rams may francise Amendola if they cannot get him signed long term. That seems like a lot of money for him and if it does happen seems to speak more about the other skill positions lacking ability than anything else, at least from my point of view. Not that Amendola isn't a quality player, just not sure he is worth that much money. Why did the Rams let Avery go by the way? Not saying he is a great player but I thought this was a guy they wanted Bradford to build chemistry with? But they let him go after only 2 seasons. Sorry I don't follow the Rams much. As far as teams wearing down I think it is pretty clear that the Bears are slipping right now. I am hoping that slide continues against the Vikings next week. The Bears have played some very good defense early on but the problems with their offensive line haven't been fixed and that is affecting the rest of the team which seems to be regressing/struggling now.

Philly Offense

Leading the league in turnovers...

Have made the hapless Saints and Redskins D/ST look like world beaters past two weeks.

This week they play the Panthers...pick them up and start with confidence.

No Mccoy (B.Brown will start) and Foles makes another start... turnover city!

Lions for sure. Maybe the Bears but I think they bounce back this week against the Vikings (another team teetering on the brink). Dolphins also appear to be fading fast.

Disagree 100%. Have you seen his schedule? He's faced, chi, sea, arz, sf, and the jets which have skewed his stats. In the games where he has not faced a tough pass def he had posted:det 198 1 tdwsh 310 3 td 1 intmia 315 0 tdgb 255 1 td 1 intne 205 1 td 1 intAverages out to 4105 yds 19 tds and 10 ints....while certainly not great but then you have to remember that a few of those games did not have Amendola around either. His schedule is one of the bigger reasons that he has not put up better numbers. Furthermore, against two of the tougher pass defenses he put up 275 and 2 tds (sf) and 170 but 2 tds (nyj)--with Amendola back. Bradford is certainly not elite, but he has been doing much better than his season numbers indicate and he has shown signs that he has been progressing--you just have to dig a little deeper.

I was thinking about the Dolphins also who played very well early on but seem to be slipping now.The Vikings are a hungry team trying to get over the hump in a rebuilding year. Bears certainly have the defense to beat them depending on which Ponder shows up, I just don't think they can stop Peterson.

The Giants created a decent cushion for themselves, but that has eroded. While they are the quintessential "10 win team to win it all", they have to make a leap at some point. 16 days ago, they were 6-2. The NFC is at its worst in nearly a decade; they should be owning the place, but they are just 2-2 in the division. If ever there was a year where they could have run away with the division, this would be it. As a Jets fan, I realize a couple of things; you can only go so far (as in length of a mini-dynasty) with 10 win teams, and while they have won the big show twice, would they be any different than my Jets, if they just went to the championship game twice? This IS NOT a knock on the team or a weak attempt to compare the two squads; I admire the Giants a lot and feel that they have twice the talent the Jets have/had; I just think this is a team with so much talent, they should have been throwing up countless 12 win teams, and for some reason, they just get caught in the mud...while they are unprecedented in regards to getting out of bad situations, they seem to put their own back to the wall needlessly.

+1They just looked like they're toasted/mailing it in. McCoy being hurt now too makes that whole offense pretty much worthless.
