Offered D.Hopkins for D.Lewis, A.Jeffery + M.Floyd (afraid that Lewis + Jeffery could be playoff impact players) (1 Viewer)

I'm torn as to what to do with this trade offer I received today. I'm fairly solid at rb, but my team is weak at WR because of Jeffery's suspension. I have T.Y. Hilton, Allen Robinson and a few guys who may or may not work out...Corey Coleman, Cameron Meredith + Michael Floyd.

I was offered DeAndre Hopkins for Jeffery, Dion Lewis + Michael Floyd.....I understand that Jeffery is out until week 15, Lewis hasn't played this year and Floyd has done nothing to this point...My fear is that Jeffery comes back in wk 15 + is a major impact player + Dion Lewis plays himself into shape and is an impact player on an explosive offense.

Would you do this deal if u were me?

Is this a redraft or dynasty?  Is it PPR or standard?  What is your position in the standings (clinched playoffs or fighting for a spot)? Starting Requirements?

I'm in the same boat.  Was offered Hopkins/Jeffrey/Martin for Cam/Kelvin/JStew.  I'm weak at WR, and Kelvin is unfortunately my best.  I'm struggling with the idea of Jeffrey coming out and being a top WR for Wks 15-16.  If he is, then this becomes easier for me to swallow.  If not, then it's a waste.

On your problem, I think Jeffrey/Dion and Floyd is a lot for Hopkins.  With that said, it all depends on your situation.  If you're sniffing the playoffs and you think Hopkins can push you over the edge, go for it.  I think Floyd is the odd man out, so he would be dropped or stay on the bench.  You didn't say anything about your RBs, so I'm assuming Dion is a lotto ticket for you and that you already have that core RB stable to carry you in case Dion doesn't cash in.

With those assumptions in mind, if I were on the edge and wanted a push to get there - I may do it.  It all comes down to whether you value Hopkins over a Jeffrey/Dion combo.

Hopkins has been terrible and is borderline not startable.  He hasn't topped 50 yds in four weeks and hasn't had a TD since week 5.  He only has one 100 yd effort and that was in week 2.  I don't think he will push you over anything and I wouldn't start him over Hilton or A-Rob at this point.  If this is in a dynasty league he has more value hoping that Osweiller can turn things around but for this year he isn't very good.

Your probably right. Hopkins has been terrible, but there is so much potential there. This is a tough one.

D Lewis I bailed on..... His matchups, if he gets any real playing time, are brutal.  Floyd is garbage... I'd take Hopkins over Jeffery due to his suspension

I don't worry about his matchups that much. What I'm concerned about is his role. Blount has been playing great and they Patriots are stacked at every skill position. Only so many balls to go around.

I agree with this 100%
