Did anyone else watching the HD feed have one ####ty camera angle? The one when they shot towards the pitcher prior to the windup.

The MVP was a tough call. No one real player stood out tonight.

This AL domination over the NL is starting to get freaky. It is pretty much a full baseball generation since the NL last won. Only Rivera was in the 1996 game that started the streak and in the game tonight, for either team.

If baseball could figure out how to make every game come in at 2 hours and 30 minutes, I think they would get a lot more fans. Really good pace tonight for the game.

If this holds up, the AL will have home field advantage in the World Series because a pitcher from the 15th best team in the NL gave up the winning run. That Bud Selig sure is smart!
I actually think this is turning into a smart decision on his part. Those players were going all-out for it last night, as they did last year. If the point was to turn the ASG into an event again, or at least make the players care, he's doing well with it.As for HFA, overrated. Since they implemented it I doubt you can point to a time where it made an advantage for the winning team.2008: Rays had HFA; Phillies beat them2007: RSox had HFA; swept the Rockies2006: Tigers had HFA; Cards beat them2005: WSox had HFA; wiped the floor with the Astros2004: RSox had HFA; swept the Cards2003: Yanks had HFA; Marlins beat them:shrug:

funny but when I was a kid in the early 80's seems like all you herd was about the NL dominance. Just like NFC/AFC these things go in cycles

Thought I read somewhere that before last nights game, the AL had outscored the NL by a whopping 1 run in 70+ years of All-Star games

Hmmm, Crawford, odd choice to me. Great catch, but the game was tied at that point.
 that's why it was such a big play.
I guess, but I don't know, I think Granderson was a bigger play. 7th inning, I don't know. Not an outrage or anything, but he would have been probably my 4th choice.

Question: Why did they play the Canadian National Anthem? As I am Canadian, I am OK with it, just don't understand.

Because there was a Canadian team represented. Pretty sure they do that in most if not all ballparks when the Jays come to town, I seem to remember a bruhaha of it getting booed in 1993 when the Yanks played them.In hockey, the play it before all games, I believe, due to the overwhelming Candian prescence in the game.
