***OFFICAL*** Kick Returners 2008 Thread (1 Viewer)

I play in a league that rewards points to individual players for return yards and touchdowns. The point value is not exorbitant (1 point per 35 yards, 6 for TD's) so it does not necessarily make Josh Cribbs a starter. However, it does provide a significant boost in value to otherwise marginally productive starters such as Nate Burleson or Terrence McGee (this is an IDP league). A quick internet search showed the information on KR/PR's to be sparse, although depth charts on NFL.com have proved to be somewhat helpful. However, I do not place a ton of faith in them as they still have Mwelde Moore on the Vikings and various other errors.

I am trying to make a list of regular NFL starters that may have enchanced value based on their added return yardage. So far I have come up with this list:

Nate Burleson (KR/PR for Seattle)

Terrence McGee (KR for Buffalo)

Devin Hester (a stretch but he remains a starting WR)

Terrence Newman (PR for Dallas)

Charles Woodson (PR for Green Bay)

Maurice Jones-Drew (obviously already a FF starter but enhanced by being KR)

Tedd Ginn (KR/PR for Miami)

Leon Washington (KR/PR for NYJ)

Antwaan Randle EL (PR for Washington)

Am I missing anyone? Any training camp competitions that anyone knows about that would be useful? Feel free to post them in here.

Perhaps this thread isn't helpful to most, but I had to assume that there are others out there who get various levels of points for kick returns.

Here, try this thread.

It's been going all Summer. I've contemplated doing another thread to simply show who the current returners are for all teams, but haven't yet. There is a ton of news and a little discussion in there. Herman (staffer) updates it pretty regularly.

Pacman is likely to be getting some 1st team defense action and will be a nickle DB at the very least. He will be returning all Dallas kicks as far as I've seen so far.

I have read reports on Roto Burelson is being taking off PR duties this year. Last year he was an excellent play in leagues that awarded both KR and position stats together.
