Bumping this because I need a place to vent. We now have a team that can't rush the passer, traded for a WR we don't even use the way every Viking fan knows he needs to be used (i.e. involved early), a coach who does not challenge questionable TDs but does challenge undisputable catches (I don't care if it is Chilly or someone upstairs to blame, someone needs the blame), and our offense simply can't pick up a yard when needed, and our defense cannot stop an opponent on crritical drives. Personally, I think the team has quit on Childress, and based on the defense going AWOL 3 weeks running I have to say I'm not really in favor of replacing Childress with Leslie Frazier. How the heck did we get here?

I think the Vikings may have found a QB for next season.

Webb looked pretty good.

They could focus their off season efforts at other positions.

Thought he played very well. But not ready to hand it over to him after just one game. Let's see what happens next week, if he starts. Also, this team doesn't need to be "blown up". Defensively.. If they get Griffin back next year, slide Winfield to Safety and draft and/or pickup a CB in the Free agent market I think the defense will be better.Offensively.. Need to find a good #2/3 WR to fill-in when Harvin's Migraines hit him. Need to dump Mckinnie and look to FA and the draft to get the OL better. I'd like to see what QB's become available in FA and the dumping of contracts in March. Use Webb similar to the way The Steeler's originally used Kordell Stewart to get him more experience.
