How is UCF still in the C-USA? Shouldn't they be in a bigger conference (i.e. Big 12)?
UCF might actually be more competitive in the SEC than Missouri is going to be.
Good one - losses to Georgia and South Carolina in the first year in the SEC are so terribly embarassing. I will hold my predictions until we start realizing the recruiting opened up by playing in the SEC (not to mention the increase in revenue). Maybe OU can move to the C-USA to give UCF some competition. How you guys like carrying the water for Texas????

Last I looked, OU has more national championships, conference championships and a better winning percentage than UT.

Seven Big 12 Championships. Do you remember what happened when Missouri was undefeated in the Big 12 Championship game? If not, here is a look back

lol at 'SEC recruiting,' you guys often struggle getting the best guys in your own state to come there.

You're putting words in my mouth. I haven't said that Washington has improved. That will be known at the end of the year. It will also probably be found that stanfords rise into the top ten was a major blunder as well. Similarly we will see if auburn improved overnight before playing lsu or if lsu just laid an egg. That looked to be the case but I certainly understand that looks can be decieving.
LSU was clearly the better team than Auburn. They simply made a lot of mistakes that aren't likely to happen on a weekly basis.
Ok fine...then back to my original commentt about this "going on the road in the SEC for a tough game" stuff...we agree the only reason it was "tough" was because LSU made it such.

I'm in College Station and just watched Arkansas get crushed.

Props to the Aggies...but...

College Station is a dump and the coeds have to be some of the ugliest in the country.

That's all I got.

Which part? Women down here have been SO disappointing. Worst college town I've been to.
College Station is a hole. You should just drive over to Austin and spend the evening here. You won't be disappointed.

Both, unless the women have completely fell off in that last 3-4 years

I always preferred College Station to Austin but I had more connections there and am not a fan of huge crowds.

I think you may be the first person who has ever said that. But - to each his own. College Station was home to Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen for a few years. So it has that.

Game atmosphere is better at College Station but everything else is Austin BY A MILE. As far as the chicks go, TAMU isn't too bad but UT, SMU and TCU all have exceptional tail and Baylor is probably even better IMO. One of the issues is in College Station most of the guys are dressed like cheerleaders.

It's not specific to the SEC, which was clear in my earlier post. That game just happened to be an SEC game. It's conference games, as I mentioned with Stanford. Conference games are more dangerous than non conference IMO. The teams have history and just plan don't like each other. Bad teams can play up a level out of pure spite. Why are you making this about the SEC?

Wow, Clemson's defense is absolute trash. I mean we kind of knew this after last week (and the Orange Bowl) but man, BC is terrible.

It's hard to find many schools in Texas that don't have exceptional tail but after living in Waco for 8 years I would not put Baylor anywhere near A&M.
