UGA statement on Gurley:

Since completing its initial review of the eligibility matter involving UGA student-athlete Todd Gurley on October 9, the University has been supporting Todd and cooperating with his legal counsel as they review the matter.

Todd has confirmed his desire to seek reinstatement, and the University fully supports Todd's request. The University plans to file the necessary paperwork with the NCAA later today.

“I want to thank the University, coaches, teammates, and the Bulldog Nation for their patience and support,” Gurley said. “I take full responsibility for the mistakes I made, and I can’t thank the University, my coaches, and teammates enough for supporting me throughout this process. I’m looking forward to getting back on the field with my teammates.”

Gurley’s attorney, William King, said, “Todd has taken responsibility for his actions and is ready to rejoin his teammates. The University has been great throughout the past two weeks and has done everything it can to support Todd. I would especially like to thank President Morehead, Greg McGarity, and Coach Richt for standing by Todd.”

The University hopes for and expects a prompt ruling by the NCAA so that Todd, his coaches, and teammates can adequately prepare for our next game.

With a statement like that, you have to think they know what the ruling will be.

Ole Miss still only -3.5 @ LSU.

The OM O is better Passing, vs an LSU D that's stronger vs the Pass.

Also...LSU has only lost 3 home night games under Miles...all against teams that were #1 at one point in the season:

2009: Florida

2012: Alabama

2014: Miss State

Like Will Muschamp's the first UGA representative that didn't make it to year five.

Call Will Muschamp the Army Corps of Engineers because he can drain a swamp in four years.

Call Will Muschamp Avatar because he made all his money in 2009 and now we're all kind of embarrassed about it. (Ain't nothing three dimensional about him, though.)

Call Will Muschamp the ASPCA because he doesn't beat dogs.

Call Will Muschamp the world's greatest craps player cause he can't roll sevens.

Call Will Muschamp the F-104 Starfighter because safe touchdowns and horrifying explosions are just as likely.

Call Will Muschamp Santa Claus because his January schedule is clear.

Call Will Muschamp the German language because he can't get a "W" right, either.

Call Will Muschamp Pixar cause he'll make you cry six times in two hours.

Call Will Muschamp coffee because he's gonna get canned in Jacksonville.

I hope ECU hangs 50 plus on UConn tonight. Continuing to play like this we are never going to get an invite to a power 5 conference.

Focus on growing that Lacrosse program so we can join the ACC since UNC won't be playing much of anything for the next few years and we can pick up the slack for there Basketball and Soccer programs.

Cool Google doc one of the Domers on another board posted regarding the schedules remaining for some of the top teams:

I will get Roll Tide tattooed on my ### if Auburn loses to USCe or A&M
Let's make this happen this week.
Stephen Garcia isn't walking through that door.
That isn't exactly a bad thing if Carolina is playing Auburn.

How did Ohio St lose to this team
You know the answer is first game with a new QB after expecting Miller to be the starter.
Not really an excuse seeing how bad this VT team is.
Was a lot of different things at the time but it started with Meyer getting out-coached that night. If they played again today OSU would roll them.
Yea for sure. I could see the committee giving VT a pass for that game if it was against anyone else, but that loss won't match up against other one loss teams. Other factors could play though.

Definitely...OSU would need to run the table convincingly to even sniff the playoff this year. Even that might not be enough depending on how the other 1-loss teams fare.

I think its already been decided that any one loss team from a power conference gets in over OSU

Not sure what Ohio could have done differently offensively that night. Va Tech played press man and stuffed the box. Barrett wasn't developed enough in his reads, his WR's weren't beating the jam, there was nowhere to run, then a QB who had played one game in almost two years pressed.

Both of those first two games were going to be a problem for Ohio because the opponent was good enough to beat a much more talented team in transition.

I don't count. I think its been decided by the powers that be. I just have that suspicion. Its really just a joke, but I'd be shocked if OSU with one loss gets in over any other power conference team with one loss. I'd make a wager on that.

Curious to see how the defense fares tonight. Should score plenty on offense, but hoping the defense continues improving tonight. A lot of eyes on the game tonight. Go Ducks.
