Every time extended family gets together, there's always crap. Let's here this year's Christmas crap!!!

I am sick as hell right now.  We usually spend Christmas Eve at the in-laws.  Should I go and contaminate them all? Or should I just wait to contaminate my immediate family tomorrow?  Either way, could end up as a horror story in the long run.

Not a horror story, but this is as good a place as any for a    story.  My daughter made cupcakes for everyone for christmas - we usually have about 20 people over on Christmas day.  She just got done decorating them, and went to do something else.  Dog just ate the entire bunch off the counter....All I heard was the screaming, by that time it was all over...

Daughter is in tears, inconsolable, wife is about to kill the dog, and I am just sitting back and silently chuckling.  Its Christmas time.

Usually we either go back to the in-laws for thanksgiving or christmas, but wife just started new job and did not get favorable schedule.  Mother in law has spent the last week making wife and kids feel bad for not being there  to celebrate with the other 4 kids and 13 grandkids (which is a total cluster to make through w/o drinking).  Told wife to ignore all calls from MIL until tomorrow and we've celebrated.  One thing though, we are at 76 degrees and it doesn't feel much like Christmas.  This time last week we were at 22.

When I was at BIL's one of the non related kids was eating the thirty year old string popcorn right of the tree   Apparently she ate a ton of it. Wife and I were lol.

Welp, she got her revenge. My 3ish month pregnant wife has been up puking all night. Guessing food poisoning.

Not to go in to details. But people are non-appreciative, self-centered #####. And Christmas only amplifies it. Put me on the list with Ebenezer Scrooge of folks that would prefer to just completely ignore the holiday as if it didn't exist.
