Is it the play calling or the QB?Play calling on offense abysmal
Seems like a lot of dink and dunk calls. They need to stretch things out like the last drive where they screwed up the fgIs it the play calling or the QB?
The running game isn't going to work if the QB doesn't run sometimes.
According to twitter at half there were receivers down field who were open. But Shea wouldn't throw it.Seems like a lot of dink and dunk calls. They need to stretch things out like the last drive where they screwed up the fg
Well that could be too. In a restaurant not paying complete attention. Just seems like Iowa is not concerned with anything deepAccording to twitter at half there were receivers down field who were open. But Shea wouldn't throw it.
Obviously don't know how accurate that is.
This is why I believe in the polls much less than the point spreads. They can both be wrong, but the polls are more wrong more of the time.Hiow was Iowa #14? I guess someone has to be. lol
Still for the life of me can't figure out why anyone gives a #### about the polls....especially in this format where they are completely meaningless. This is why I believe in the polls much less than the point spreads. They can both be wrong, but the polls are more wrong more of the time.
My wife and I were going to meet friends at a bar in Ann Arbor as we only live 20 miles away. I stood in my garage and looked at that rain whipping around went back in and said "We are not going anywhere" Popped a beer and we pulled out some blankets and watched from our couch. That was a fun game. At least for me sitting at home in my nice warm, dry living room.
I was at the game, it wasn’t too bad initially but by halftime I was completely soaked. actually felt worse when it stopped rainingThat was a fun game. At least for me sitting at home in my nice warm, dry living room.
Yeah, that's a gut punch, but it's not like they were using him as they should. I'd have probably bailed too.Collins opting out to work out for the draft.
Weber’s is the top hangout for the swinger crowd, or so I’ve been told.
No advice on where to stay, but just to say: The alums and such park on the far side of the stadium away from campus (golf course, etc.). That's fine, but you might consider making the walk from the main campus area down to the game ...so stay wherever, and park around the main campus and join the ever-growing crowd that marches over the stadium. I miss that experience as much as anything related to Michigan games. We are heading out to Ann Arbor for a game this fall. 7 guys, and none of us has ever been. There aren't many AirBnB's left, or available for that amount of people.
Currently have reservations at Weber's (friend's recommendation), but looking closer, the location is not ideal and the reviews are not great either - averages 3 stars w/ some issues.
We will be there from Thursday to Sunday and will fly in and out of Ann Arbor. So the Hyatt by the airport would be convenient and has better reviews (avgerages 4 stars).
However, staying in the heart of town, near the stadium seems like the way to go. The Marriott Residence Inn fits those parameters and is 4 stars.
I also checked out The Graduate, which looks kind of cool. Any others I missed?
So, where should we stay?
*Zingerman’s RoadhouseIt's been way too long, so I don't know the best places for drinks anymore but Zingerman's is a must. Possibly multiple times.
Is that little hamburger joint still open that was the size of a shoebox but served probably the best greasy hamburgers ?
ETA: Hunter House. So awesome. Guess maybe the A2 location is closed.
Agree with this. I thought it was easier to get out of there also.tri-man 47 said:No advice on where to stay, but just to say: The alums and such park on the far side of the stadium away from campus (golf course, etc.). Yep. That’s itSure you weren't think of Blimpy Burger? I understand its moved to a different spot in Ann Arbor.
