They're dead, Jim.Also, if a rider drops from their team, we'll pretend they're dead and never tell you how they did.
Well I thought I had it all figured out. But then the rules of this ttt were whack. It was basically an itt with domestiques. The whole team gets the 1st riders time and then the gc is calculated individually.Dang, I'm always rooting for the breakaway guy. He got to about 2.5 km from the finish before they got him.
It's uncanny how often they are caught with between 1-3 km left. I'm like you, always rooting for the breakaway, but its just inevitable most of the time.
Question for the group: how the heck do you figure out who will do well in a TTT?

I think giving to team the time of the first rider is dumb. Give the average time of the top 3 or the third rider to cross. I’m fine with giving the individual times for the GC. But what do I know. Guess they way they do it makes sense to somebody.Well I thought I had it all figured out. But then the rules of this ttt were whack. It was basically an itt with domestiques. It's uncanny how often they are caught with between 1-3 km left. I'm like you, always rooting for the breakaway, but its just inevitable most of the time.
Question for the group: how the heck do you figure out who will do well in a TTT?I would have had Jonas on my team for sure if I’d known this was how it would be scored. Terrible day for Armstrong’s needle.

that is just as bad for the wet and cold ridersWell maybe not...slow rolling.
the chase was close last I sawTwo ienos riders have snuck into the break.
Cycling coverage blowsI can't figure out what's going on.
To be fair, there's riders over about 5 miles of road at this point, its sleeting, raining, and there are 2 car/moto crashes.Cycling coverage blowsI can't figure out what's going on.
Damn, they finish with a big climb today too... that sucksMilan is back on his bike but going very slow, won’t make it back to the peloton but looks like he might finish
Seems like there’s no open line between race organizers and Peacock’s coverage team to find out wtf is going on.To be fair, there's riders over about 5 miles of road at this point, its sleeting, raining, and there are 2 car/moto crashes.Cycling coverage blowsI can't figure out what's going on.
I am watching an international feed, and they have the same concernsSeems like there’s no open line between race organizers and Peacock’s coverage team to find out wtf is going on.To be fair, there's riders over about 5 miles of road at this point, its sleeting, raining, and there are 2 car/moto crashes.Cycling coverage blowsI can't figure out what's going on.
Someone mentioned Calvinball - seems to apply to this race as well.
Don’t they just get the euro feed nd have zero control? That’s the way it used to be. Phil and Paul used to listen in on the race announcers in French and piece together what was happening. Cvdv and Bob seemed to do the same thing at one point. The feed was in French for minute or so when they were trying to figure out what was going on.Seems like there’s no open line between race organizers and Peacock’s coverage team to find out wtf is going on.To be fair, there's riders over about 5 miles of road at this point, its sleeting, raining, and there are 2 car/moto crashes.Cycling coverage blowsI can't figure out what's going on.
Unfortunately most of these contests come down to a battle of attrition. You should be able to sub in a rider for the same price and just not get end of contest points.Losing buitrago will hurt
