FRACK MAN just get on the field.
The original team diagnosis was 4-6 weeks. This Sunday is 6 weeks. Some people are slow healers I guess. What I don't get is all of his talk about returning week 12 originally - what a bum.

Apparently some people are slow learners as well. Never mind multiple actual doctors (not just holiday inn express guests) have repeatedly stated that this is not a case of fast vs slow healer. Maybe lashing out at "Erin" helps these folks to compensate for certain shortcomings of their own.You just keep up the effort...The original team diagnosis was 4-6 weeks. This Sunday is 6 weeks. This article basically says that it's a 3-6 week injury, and the number one determinant of actually length of time is the individual's healing ability. It is what it is.
I've heard otherwise from any number of doctors, and still not sure why people must somehow put down Rodgers - as if they could stand on sack and not crumple to the ground in a crying mess.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1838895-a-closer-look-at-aaron-rodgers-injury-collarbone-fracture-and-future-recoveryThis article basically says that it's a 3-6 week injury, and the number one determinant of actually length of time is the individual's healing ability. Vicodin is a helluva drug. He's definitely not as tough as Favre, that's for sure.
I reckon Chad Henne is a better play.qYou reckon Flynn is a good play against Dallas?
You saw McCown carve up DAL last night right? You reckon Flynn is a good play against Dallas?
McCown is playing with poise, confidence, and possibly the best WR/WR/RB combo in the NFL... Granted, in a league where you can start two QB's, the pickings can get slim, but Flynn is just not good. You saw McCown carve up DAL last night right? You reckon Flynn is a good play against Dallas?
I tentatively have him plugged in as my 2nd QB as my superflex
Well...if Im going to believe anyone...its an article from bleacher report...rather than the doctors who actually have examined Rodgers and seen his scans and xrays.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1838895-a-closer-look-at-aaron-rodgers-injury-collarbone-fracture-and-future-recoveryApparently some people are slow learners as well. I agree...Flynn is not as good, and right now the Bears OL plus gameplanning is superior to what McCarthy's offense is doing.McCown is playing with poise, confidence, and possibly the best WR/WR/RB combo in the NFL... That is one weak effort. Next time use your glasses. Here is the quote in the article, from FoxSports:Said on @FOXSportsLive, source pins it at roughly 4-6 weeks for Aaron Rodgers. By the way...did you miss this in your article? "Clavicle fractures can carry a wide range of recovery times. Many factors, such as the presence of associated injuries, fracture location and individual player characteristics all come into play."
And nowhere does the article state actually that its a 3-6 week injury.
There was only something about a Shefter tweet that said it "could" be a 3 week injury. The article actually stated week 3 was when bone generally begins the intitial stages of reattachment. And the rest was speculation that he could be from 4-6 weeks.
So again I say...you just keep up that effort.

That info was substantiated elsewhere. But what does the author know? He's only a Doctor who specializes in sports injuries. I'm sure Sho Nuff's pontifications are more credible.
No one cares about what mind of hope he gave you. You could have left that outI'm only upset b/c ARod was talking about being back for the Thxgiving game, which gave me totally false hope when trading for him. Oh well, win some, lose some.
If you can't see the difference between my post and yours, then I can't help ya doc. Rodgers himself states it's 6-8 week injury. I trust a guy who has had face to face contact with his doctors and knows more details about this than the idiots on twitter-verse who are throwing numbers out to try and be the "first to report".Edit: forgot the linkSo you did not read the whole article huh? That is one weak effort. Talk about weak...you brought a bleacher report article...one that quoted a bunch of people on twitter who have never been near Rodgers with the injury and you think their speculation somehow means something?
Even your fox sports live post was that of speculation...
My pontifications came from your link...where the medical part of it was actually discussed.
Again...keep up the effort...kind of funny watching you in this thread.

I'm waiting until they make it official...So are you fellow owners of him dropping him? I am sadly.... I held out hope for this week.
Rodgers said 6-8 weeks yesterday. That's the problem. If it was 6-8 weeks all along why did he and the Packers talk about a potential return even as far back as the Thanksgiving game?Dr. Brew said:Rodgers himself states it's 6-8 week injury. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the Packers are pessimistic about Aaron Rogers (collarbone) getting cleared for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Rodgers is going to practice again Wednesday, but as of last week he was still feeling pain just making simple handoffs. A source tells Werder that with this kind of injury, playing inside of eight weeks is "risky." This Sunday will mark six weeks since Rodgers went down against the Bears. Even the quarterback himself doesn't sound optimistic about this week, saying he hasn't even gotten a new scan on his collarbone yet this week. Matt Flynn is a heavy favorite to start in Dallas Sunday.

Don't know. This whole thing has been handled very poorly. One thing I'm sure of - he ain't playing this week. This #### is killing me. I mean he would light the Cowboys up if he played.
It's interesting that the team kept the fact that Rodgers played 11 on 11 on the down low. When's the next scan?
