Lots of changes for the team this year. I am excited to see what Gibby can do with a full year and new players. I dont really expect to win much but I do expect not to be embarrassed. I also dont expect to cringe when the bullpen comes in regardless of how many runs we are ahead by. I am not asking for a lot. I just want a team that will play hard and entertain me.

It wasn't that long ago that this was the team I feared in the NL West. Their top prospects from a few years ago have grown into decent players but not superstars. Upton is still 23 (a week older than Domonic Brown) so there's still hope for him. He's had 1700 MLB PAs and at some point, it stops being about potential and becomes about production. Arizona hasn't surrounded Upton, Drew and Young with much talent. They've brought in a new crew of journeymen in this year. To some extent, every team does this and you need a couple of them to have career years. At least Nady, Branyan, Mora and Bloomquist work cheap.

The pitching is still the weakest in the division. They need Hudson, Kennedy or Jarrod Parker to step up as an ace. The bullpen can't be worse than last year, can it?
