This game could get ugly, too. Denver's not any better since the 38 point loss earlier in the season, and the Texans game was a joke.

Ugh.

 
It's about that time... Hard not to find the Chargers entertaining with LT, Gates and Merriman. I like Cutler, he has a rocket arm and can make plays.

Should be a good game but go SuperChargers and hopefully Merriman brings the HEAT tonight. (IDP)

I'm not thinking it's going to be such a good game. Denver is outmatched in nearly every aspect of the game.

Agreed on the "nearly." Cutler > Rivers IMHO, though of course this is a contentious claim.-=kwantam(oh yeah, Rivers is a Pro Bowler. Heh. Riiiiiiiight.)
 
Anyone got their championship riding on tonite?

In one SB I need 5 pts for Scheffler for the win. Opponent has no one.

In another SB Im down 42 and have LT and Young tonite. Opponent has no one.

I dont know how much of a chance I have to win one.

Rally time for a shoot out!!

Heh. Guess Norv feels no such pressure 'cause he didn't draft Rivers.Note also the similarity to the Alex Smith/Frank Gore situation... and once again a need on Nolan's part to prove that Smith is awesome (up until Smith decided to go whine about him to the media, anyway...)-=kwantam

It will eventually. Before Peterson was injured, he made right on his mistake of under using Peterson. I think he's still in the Peterson-Is-Hurt mode and believes he should prevent him from getting further injured. Last night should be a reawakening that he's going down the wrong path. They need to be creative with Peterson by running some sweeps and screens. That is an issue we've beaten to death, though.

It's almost impossible to determine who is a bigger toad between Gumbel or Kornheiser. LT was the MVP last year, is in Vizio commercials every break and is considered by a very large portion of people to be the best RB in recent memory, possibly ever. And Kornheiser is trying to say that people outside of football don't know who he is? That more people know who Tiki Barber is? It's mind boggling what comes out of that minute little head of his.

Even better, that pretty much seals my defense of last year's championship, unless Kaeding and Scheffler can combine for 37 points while keeping LT from rushing any more.Love ya LT!!!!

I think there is some truth with that. LT isn't a household name to people outside of football. He's amazing. His name hasn't been marketed like Michael Jordan or Kirby Puckett.
 
Many have anointed AD as the "greatest RB since..." with nary a mention of Tomlinson. Honestly, I've found that somewhat absurd, and that is not a slight on AD.
