Dear Wade,Please keep showcasing JJ so MB3 falls again in my later drafts.TIA.JJ getting all the carries including 3rd downs. Looks fast.
I agree. He's looking really good so far. He used his blockers very well on that reception.JJ getting all the carries including 3rd downs. Looks fast.
He got burned by a quick jump, but it was a quicker Manning pass.Ugoh is worth tracking tonight.
No Witten siting, yet.Who did Manning throw the TD to? How does Addai look? Is Witten involved at all?
There's been no Manning TD pass....yetIdWho did Manning throw the TD to? How does Addai look? Is Witten involved at all?
Overthrew Wayne for the TD, Colts got a FG (ETA: defender made a nice play, or ball prolly would've been caught)Addai looked good, if you consider getting back to line of scrimmage with defenders in the backfieldWitten caught a pass on a play-action naked bootleg type play - worked against the Colts, but that doesn't mean anything --- went for a first down, 11 yards on 3rd and 6 I believeWho did Manning throw the TD to? How does Addai look? Is Witten involved at all?
Typical, Manning would rather throw it than give it to Addai. No Witten siting, yet.Who did Manning throw the TD to? How does Addai look? Is Witten involved at all?
posts with actual analysis/opinions are refreshing and well worth reading, keep it coming, thxAfter 2nd drive ... again, take it for what its worth ...Colts offense:1) Manning to Harrison has yet to be stopped, no surprise2) only one pressure from Peyton's blind side, good news re: Tony Ugoh - especially against Cowboys3) Addai is getting the rock, 1 pass 2 rush, but appeared to be limited by crappy blocking - bad news re: Tony UgohCowboys defense:1) run defense looked stout, but may have been Colts line problems 2) Harrison torched the seconday, but its Harrison3) small sample size, but holding Colts to 3 points when they start on their 40 is pretty good
Not sure, Romo was still in. They may have two TEs in the game.Witten must be sitting b/c Fasano has 3 catches this drive. Also, no JJ this drive.
lol - GB the pre-season overreactionsJJ is done for the game they said on the radio FWIWBarber looks so unsure of himself out there. I thought Barber was highly overrated going into this game (being he is not even a starter)....now I believe he may possibly the most overrated RB in fantasy this year...hands down.
Agree on Barber. To much dancing and moving side line to side line instead of straight ahead.notes from 3rd drive:1) refs are still calling contact with QB closely2) alot of second unit players in on both sides, MB3 in exclusively and struggling mightly3) Romo looks good still, accurate on some longer throws - all to Fasano, not sure if Witten is in--doesn't look like Witten is in, but Romo and Fasano definately have something good going -- Romo went to him accuratelyon a 10 yard pass with the blitz in his face4) let me repeat, Barber looks absolutely average - and this is against the Colts w/ 2nd stringers in on both D-line and LB's5) great play continues by Marlin Jackson, not so much on the otherside (see above re: Fasano)6) Colts D overall isn't any worse than last year (regular season), and have definite potential to suceed in the bend-don't-break Tampa-2 style+Fasano-Barber+Marlin Jackson
Is that possible?6) Colts D overall isn't any worse than last year (regular season),
I definately agree with this. While the Colts weren't brining any pressure at all, theirsecondary seemed to be playing better than average. So +Romo when there's no pressureI know it's the Colts D, but Romo is showing some nice poise. Could be a definte value after the main guys are gone.(was laughed at in a yahoo (practice) draft when I drafted Romo as my starter, looks like I may have the last laugh)

Well, technically they did lose a bunch of starters (Harper, June, Booger, etc) - and that doesn't appear to have affected them at all.Is that possible?6) Colts D overall isn't any worse than last year (regular season),
Exactly my point. An amazing and improbable playoff run notwithstanding, their D sucked badly (again) last year. IMO the only serious loss of the starters was Harper.Well, technically they did lose a bunch of starters (Harper, June, Booger, etc) - and that doesn't appear to have affected them at all.Is that possible?6) Colts D overall isn't any worse than last year (regular season),
At least against this run first offense. It may not hold up as well against the pass happy Bengals.Well, technically they did lose a bunch of starters (Harper, June, Booger, etc) - and that doesn't appear to have affected them at all.Is that possible?6) Colts D overall isn't any worse than last year (regular season),
