Did he say that? All I've heard him do is wax poetic about conspiracy theories involving the Chinese and environmental regulations designed solely to harm business. He could have expressed the thoughts you are referencing and I just missed it.
Trump only said he will reduce regulation but he should explain what will be important to keep.  His team has to establish very clear guidelines.

I want to make sure we do not allow pollution to get worse.  The Chinese themselves learned the hard way that this problem is extremely difficult and costly to fix.

Hillary said our government has been hacked very single day.  I guess it is about time we do something about it after we figured out they don't vote Democrat.  And of course it is not China, they were hacking for and not against the Dems.

Maybe putting an oil guy in charge of the EPA isn't the best way to to this...

We need to do something about cyber defense ...and stop trying to overturn the results of the election...its over ...the repubs won ...move on to cleaning up Clintons email scandals and finding out once and for all who hacked the very incriminating emails

Some seem to deny it happened at all.

I'm very glad Drudge is keeping his readers abreast of who is nominated for best daytime drama.
This Rex Tillerson guy almost seems smarter than Trump.  Is that a problem?

Russians would prefer a corrupt US government while US citizens would not.  It makes more sense for the whistle blowers to be Americans.

Вы, американцы, ложному дерево ... Вы должны слушать то, что сказал Сноуден о своем NSA

I was trying to give trump the benefit of the doubt, but he is worse than I thought he could be with these picks, twitter, and his continued discrediting of intelligence and institutions.  This is disgusting.

i call these things the epitome of shaking up the establishment...it was guarantied to piss off a lot of people

These positions were bought and sold and undermine the very agencies of which they will lead.

I expected a shakeup. I also expected him to make deals and rely on knowledgeable people. This man is not fit to be president. I was hopeful after his acceptance speech and in the days after the election, but he has proven over and over again to still be the thinskinned, conspiracy theorist, anti-intellectual/intellectual curiosity guy that he has shown himself to be since 2008.  Sad. And I mean that not to deride trump, but that it is truly sad where we are going. And i blame nobody but Hillary and the dnc.

If Trump is remotely successful as President,  the Democrats are in serious trouble as a party after how they've handled things do far.  What a mess

Oh let's don't do this.  You were never hopeful and had no intentions of ever approving of anything he did.  The guy isn't even President yet and you're saying he's unfit.  Give it up

Report now of Turkey threatening Trump assets there, including someone from the Trump Co, in order to get the extradition of Fethullah Gulen. There seems to be some conflict within his proposed cabinet about Erdogan. And then there is the possibility than Erdogan might also like a freer hand in dealing with the Kurds. You know, the Kurds who have been helping us for years fight AQ, ISIS and even Saddam, right?

Nice hotel development ya have, Donnie, shame if somethin' happened to it....

So sad seeing the slaughter of all those people in Aleppo at the hands of Putin and Assad. So grim that the West just turned a blind eye. We could have taken in so many more refugees.

The recounts are over. Trump picked up a net +131 votes in WI, and courts shut down recounts in MI & PA.

Stein keeps whatever she did not spend and will likely devote it to 2020.

Finis.
Liked to see this recount.  Very interesting to see the results when there aren't a zillion lawyers arguing chads.

.005% error is pretty darn good.    to Wisconsin.  Walker runs a good state there.

Absolutely.  Still incredibly mad about this.  We, and by "we" I mean this administration, drew a line in the sand and then promptly ignored it when Assad stepped over it and ceded all influence in the area to Russia.

Just shameful.

We've always ceded influence to Russia in Syria - since the 1970's.

I heard he was recommended by Condoleezza Rice and Robert Gates.  The guy's from Texas so I assume he knows the Bush family.
I would think. I don't know what kind of SoS he will make. Hard to say since he has no public service. All I really know about him is that he has billions tied up with Russia and stands to really profit from his new position. I am sure they will lift the sanctions against Russia.

Then why did we draw the line to begin with?  Why bother sticking our nose in when we had no intention of following through?  Why damage our reputation like that?

Still questions that have no good answers.  Easily the most embarrassing foreign policy decision over the last 8 years (not the worst - that goes to the creation of the power vacuum in Iraq with the pullout).

SEC investigation over climate change - really?  Seems a bit frivolous.
There's 2 pieces there. One is that they aren't accurately keeping their books. That's not frivolous. The other is that they have been hiding knowledge that they are contributing to climate change for 40 years. That's like cigarette companies hiding the link to cancer. It's also being dishonest to investors since it's hiding a risk to the future of the industry.

Agree. Total failure.
