The birther controversy started during the election - he had nothing to run but his own campaign.
Why do you keep saying this is Obamas thing?

That is absurd. After he gave them the long form they said it's fake. There was no winning that argument. He shouldn't have even acknowledge the idiots out there.

Do you not understand this?

Trump just said at the rally; Let's take the guns away from Hillary's bodyguards. Lets see what happens to her. This guy is completely unhinged. The lowest of the low. What an embarrassment to this country.
His supporters are more worried about the words of message board posters to worry about what their guy says.

Not sure if you are serious. In case you are, I'll spell it out for you as if you were a deplorable.

Liberals hate guns.

Liberals do not think citizens should be able to own guns to protect themselves.

Many of these same liberals have bodyguards (celebrities) or SS/LEO details (politicians) armed with guns to protect them.....

Take away the guns from their bodyguards/SS/LEO details and see if they are still singing the same tune (citizens do not need guns to protect themselves)

Any questions?

Oh wait, are you one of those people who think that Trump meant for someone to assassinate Hillary?

In that case, :lmao:

All liberals think citizens shouldn't have guns? What are you talking about.

Not even close. But keep trying
Care to prove any of those wrong?

Money?

Fame?

Book sales?

TV ratings?

Branding?

Wife?

Children?

First to the White House?

I'll be more than happy to retract any of those if you can show that Cuban beats Trump in that category.

Sure. He presented the stupid long form and the NOMINEE for the Republican Party said it was photoshopped.

It's a moron problem not an Obama problem.

I don't think you are trolling unlike Elideepthroat or whatever his name is, but this is really stupid line to take.
SMH, homophobic insults in 2016

Money...Cuban

TV show being better...Shark Tank

NBA team owner...Cuban

Branding...failed branding, Trump steaks.

Children...not sure this is the right week to be pumping up Trumps kids.

:lmao:

Cuban > Trump

I completely missed Trump's rick roll of the media this morning.

1. Tell media you are going to make a yuuuge announcement about birthergate (this would explain the past 10 pages of this thread)

2. Get free publicity for your new hotel.

3. Get free publicity of 18 Medal of Honor deplorables endorsing him. (this would explain Tim's melt earlier today)

3. Announce that Obama was born in America. :lmao:

4. Watch the media and internet melt.

Even if you hate Trump you have to respect and appreciate his mastery and dominance of the media. Very Belichick-esque.

Yep, Trump is playing 4d chess, he is a genius.

Nah...just showing again how hollow the complaints about media coverage of him are.

If Trump would release his tax returns I'm pretty sure we could resolve the money thing. I guarantee Cuban has more money than Trump.

Fame? Cuban is a self made billionaire who owns an NBA team.  He's on TV enough to satisfy his normal sized ego.  Trump is a narcissist who got his money from his father and proceeded to bankrupt several companies.  How you go bankrupt running a casino in Atlantic City is beyond me but Der Orangemeister managed to do it.

Book sales,  TV ratings, branding, that all goes back to Trump's narcissistic ego which has the need for everyone to fawn over him.

Wife? Do a search for Tiffany Cuban and tell me she's not hot.  Plus,  Trump has gone through 3 wives so far.  Morals!

First to the white house? That's not gonna happen.

Actually the bolder was my first impression, Chauncey. But I'm rethinking it. Trump could have avoided talking about the Birther issue entirely; he has during the campaign until now. It's a huge risk for him to bring it up.

Specifically: 13% of Florida voters are black. Trump wins if they vote in lesser numbers than they did for Obama. If they are energized and come out in Obama like numbers to vote for Hillary, she wins Florida and with it the election. I think Trump may have woken up a sleeping giant here.

Let's hope so.

Hillary needs to get some famous black people out there admonishing what Trump is doing to Obama's legacy.  One little :bs: line from a speech to advertise his hotel doesn't make up for nearly a decade of spreading lies about Obama.  Black people need to know that if Trump wins it will be a war on everything Obama has done in 8 years.

Are you saying Obama did nothing for white people or do white people know that but black people don't recognize this?? Is Trump just going after black people and not white people issues? Doesn't black & white  people have the same issues?

Nation's largest police union endorses Trump

The nation's largest police union on Friday endorsed Donald Trump for president, lauding his commitment to police officers.

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) gave the GOP presidential nominee its endorsement after he received support from more than two-thirds of the group's national board.

"[Trump] has seriously looked at the issues facing law enforcement today. He understands and supports our priorities and our members believe he will make America safe again," said Chuck Canterbury, the FOP's national president.

"He's made a real commitment to America's law enforcement and we're proud to make a commitment to him and his campaign by endorsing his candidacy today."

With labor groups overwhelmingly behind Clinton, Trump made an aggressive play for support from the police union.

He met with top officials from the FOP at Trump Tower in May, and he has made stops on the campaign trail at the union's local chapters.

"I'm on your side 1,000 percent," Trump told an FOP chapter in North Carolina in August. "What you do is incredible."

The FOP had expressed anger at Trump's rival, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, for declining to fill out a questionnaire necessary to win the group's endorsement.

The group characterized Clinton's refusal as a snub, and Canterbury referenced it in his statement Friday.

"Obviously this is an unusual election. We have a candidate who declined to seek an endorsement and a candidate without any record as an elected official," he said.

"Donald Trump may not ever have been elected to public [office] but he is a proven leader and that's what we need for the next four years — a leader unafraid to make tough choices and see them through."

Trump has made "law and order" part of his campaign message while portraying Clinton as not supportive of law enforcement. Clinton has fought back against that charge with the help of officials like outgoing New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton.

The FOP did not endorse a presidential candidate in 2012 after backing Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in 2008. The group has not endorsed a Democratic presidential nominee since Bill Clinton in 1996.

Yeah that's admirable Tim but you know what, I'll go there, right now....you guys who support Trump, I have zero respect for you and I do assume you're a bigot even if you outwardly make a calm and reasoned case for your position. Oh, you're not crazy about Trump's rhetoric, but Hillary is so distasteful...yeah, whatever.

Not only is his obvious bigotry so disqualifying, but you couple it with his incompetence on the issues, his proposals that are so laughably ridiculous, that would wreck the economy, that would scrap our global alliances, that would make us LESS safe, potentially bankrupt the country........

I'd love to understand this mindset -- we would never promote someone from the mailroom to CEO of General Motors, yet 45% of Americans apparently will vote for someone to be leader of the free world who's never even been mayor of a small town. So anyone who's kinda smart can step in and understand all of the federal departments, their histories and current challenges, all the complex relationships we have with foreign countries, all the complex interdependencies in our economy, and the time management skills it takes to manage all of these things, and when to be aggressive, when to be reticent, when to ask for input, when to punt until next year.....you could absolutely make the case that these things could use a set of fresh eyes, but only after some EXTREME vetting....does this neophyte have some unique ideas that just might work if we gave him a shot? Does he even have realistic policies, is he reasoned and patient and thoughtful and nuanced? Do you trust this guy with the nuclear codes?

It's not like he's a narcissistic, thin-skinned jackass bigot BUT he's also a political savant who shows real promise to be a transformative figure, who will leave our nation much better than he found it.......no.......he's a narcissistic, thin-skinned jackass bigot AND he has demonstrated a lack of understanding and/or an indifference to even the most basic aspects of our economy and our alliances, a contempt for basic American values like freedom of religion, freedom of the press, tolerance, and even common sense, and if we take his candidacy at face value he very OBVIOUSLY would leave us much WORSE off than he found us. How is that even debatable?

It is sad and embarrassing that this piece of trash is even in the discussion for the presidency right now. It is a sad commentary on where we are as a country. I mean, I'm as capable of pessimism as anyone but this really shocks and saddens me to the core. And back to you Tim...and Saints and some of you other guys who even dignify the Trumpites with a quote and a response...I don't know how you do it or why you do it, except that you must be bored and/or you enjoy arguing with anyone who will keep the volley going. There is maybe a cogent sentence on the Trump side once every 20 pages, and even then, it's almost always more anti-Hillary than pro-Trump. Almost always it's loaded with sarcasm and hyperbole. Even the most credible Trump supporters in here (tallest midgets?) often temper their posts with a dose of sarcasm so it comes across as tongue in cheek.

If I'm missing something here, my god, you brilliant patriots supporting Donald J. Trump to be our next president, I beseech you, please sweet Xenu in heaven, give me the case for this guy. I'm pretty sure it would be on-topic in this thread. Please, give it your best shot.
:lmao:  a "like" was not enough for this post. Excellent stuff.

Edit: For clarity, I despise Hillary, but Trump is so much worse.  It baffles me how people can affirmatively support him.
