Hey Saints, I was reading that article you posted, and regarding Trump's fascination with the name  Baron, it may be a coincidence but in Jeffrey Archer's 1977 bestseller Kane and Abel, Baron is the name of all the hotels owned by the main character, Abel, a real estate developer, and his nickname. Probably no connection but...
With this guy I would not write it off but my guess is it has more to do with his obsession with wealth and royalty or rather the public perception of it. He loves the connotation I think.

I'm going to miss Trump the most on Fridays. Sometimes he feels like he deliberately saves his dumbest and most easily mocked stuff for the end of the work week just for us.

I see we're doing the fake publicist thing today, which is certainly a fantastic story. But did we already do the lunatic white power butler and the subsequent lies about how said lunatic hasn't worked for Trump in years?

Well maybe we can change the law to let him serve more than his two terms and then the greatness can continue for a lot longer.

You know if everyone else thinks differently than you, maybe its you.
Good point.  Just look at this long list of fine, upstanding people who disagree with Tim and strongly support Trump:

John Miller

John Barron

Anthony Senecal

David Duke

Anne Coulter

The American Freedom Party (white nationalists)

William Johnson, head of the American Freedom Party

American Renaissance (white nationalists)

Jared Taylor, head of American Renaissance

The Daily Stormer (white supremacist website)

Sarah Palin

Ted Nugent

Tila Tequila

Kid Rock

The stars of Duck Dynasty

The ####iest Baldwin brother

It's truly a cavalcade of America's best and brightest.  How can a list like this possibly be wrong?  Must be you, Tim.

All of Hillary's garbage is baked in at this point. You know they have a boatload of opposition research saved back. Trump is going to get the slow drip of this stuff for the next six months. He's going to be busy defending his decades of buffoonish behavior as much as attacking HRC. And you know they got a couple of nuggets saved back for post convention. Rape allegations will be an issue eventually. Mob ties. The general electorate is not aware of a lot of his stuff.

Well if you are going to be fair you need to list all 15 million people you are putting down. Tim stated that all 15 million were wrong. But thanks for reiterating your narcissistic position that everyone but you is a moron, we haven't been reminded that you are think you are better than Trump in at least 5 pages. You are as bad as a vegan. I bet you have told someone today that you are a vegan.

Sorry for the oversight:

All 15 million people are wrong about Trump. is that better?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that they're all stupid, but it should be fairly obvious to any intelligent person that he's a bigoted misogynistic fraud who is supremely unqualified for the important job of President of the United States. I can't say why that's not obvious to those people, but hey, we all make mistakes in life. A cult of personality and a sense of belonging to a movement are both powerful things.

I do like your "if lots of people think something it has to be true" logic. Does that mean Obama did a great job in his first term?  Glad to hear you're such a big Obama supporter!  And what do we make of the fact of the people who have supported Clinton during this primary season, who by the way number 2 million more than those who have supported Trump?  Guess they must be right too, huh?  Boy, this is confusing.

Also I am not a vegan. Although I suppose it comes as no surprise that a Trump supporter is prone to simplistic and mistaken stereotyping of everyone who does not share their worldview.

Absolutely right. My wife grew up in NYC and I lived there a long time, too, and we were both waiting for this to start up. I understand a certain group of the Trump supporters here are having fun shticking it up and trolling, but I think they are naively overlooking whats coming down the pike. There really are decades of questionable actions, ethics and deals about to come out. I'm sure we will see a lot of their mimicked Trump deflective witticisms, but it should be kind of interesting for a while, at least.

Did you know that most historians believe that, had there been a free election in the Soviet Union in 1950, 600 million people would have voted for Josef Stalin? He was that popular.

Question. I like to think that I'm pretty undecided either way at this point, but my tin foil hat self is wondering why would whomever not have brought this out before now (or whenever later is)? I can kinda see the Democrats thinking their best chance of winning would be hoping to get the republican candidate with the most dirty to laundry to air out nominated before letting it fly. But why wouldn't Cruz or even someone like Romney not have let it out to keep the not their guy from being the presumptive candidate? If the Free For All  knows of this stuff why wouldn't Trump's opponents?

We should start a contest to see how much The Donald impacts the downticket.  We each throw in $5 with the winner correctly predicting the net R gain/loss in the House and Senate.

Because they are incompetent politicians?  Case in point, none of them ran any of the Howard Stern interview snippets and that's the easy stuff.

Because it was still in house. They certainly went after Trump to win the nomination, and it even got a little dirtier than I expected because they clearly don't like him, but they are still Republicans and want to protect the Republican brand. It's the same on the Democratic side.

I think the real ugliness will start coming out as it pivots to the head to head part of the election cycle, as we are starting to see now. I understand that Bernie is still campaigning, but it's starting to get to that point.  On the media side of this, you'll hear a lot about media bias, but I think it's more about making money, and if he falls hard, that  makes them more money (for-profit news is the issue there, but that's a whole other discussion).

At least that's what I think about it all, but I am no expert on this, so grains of salt for everyone.

Is no one going to post the white supremacist butler story?

The profanity might result in a banning, so let me try a version from a major newspaper:

Secret Service to investigate after Trump’s ex-butler calls for Obama to be killed

The longtime former butler to presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump called for President Obama to be killed, and now the Secret Service said it will conduct an investigation.

Liberal magazine Mother Jones reported on Anthony Senecal's Facebook posts, including one from Wednesday in which he wrote Obama "should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term."

The post was only visible to his Facebook friends, but Senecal confirmed its authenticity to Mother Jones, saying, "I wrote that. I believe that."

"The U.S. Secret Service is aware of this matter and will conduct the appropriate investigation," agency spokesman Robert Hoback said in an email Thursday.

The Trump campaign denounced Senecal's messages and distanced itself from the former butler at Trump's estate, the Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla.

"Tony Senecal has not worked at Mar-a-Lago for years, but nevertheless we totally and completely disavow the horrible statements made by him regarding the President," Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said via email.

A 1,600-word New York Times profile published in March reports Senecal as still having a presence at Mar-a-Lago after his 2009 retirement from official butler duties.

In "A King in His Castle: How Donald Trump Lives, From His Longtime Butler," New York Times reporter Jason Horowitz describes Senecal's relationship to Trump, writing "few people here can anticipate Mr. Trump’s demands and desires better than Mr. Senecal, 74, who has worked at the property for nearly 60 years, and for Mr. Trump for nearly 30 of them."

When asked whether Senecal is still employed by Trump and receives a paycheck for working at the estate, Hicks responded: "He is not employed by Mr. Trump, and hasn’t been since June of 2009."

She added: "We strongly condemn these horrible comments from Mr. Senecal."

Wednesday's Facebook post isn't the first time Senecal has called for Obama to be killed, Mother Jones reported. He also has made threatening remarks about first lady Michelle Obama. From Mother Jones:

Senecal regularly posts screeds on his Facebook page from a far-right perspective in which he decries Obama and his wife—along with Hillary Clinton, other Democrats, and Republican leaders. He often refers to Obama as "zero," and several times he has called for the president's execution. He confirms that he has written all the posts on the page that have appeared under his name. "It's all me," he says.

There's much worse stuff than this btw, including stuff about hanging the president in the lobby of the "White Mosque" and so forth.

I'm not worried about Trump's inexperience in domestic and foreign affairs though, because he only hires the best people.

You forgot that any of his policy talking points are just suggestions. Ban Muslims? Just a suggestion now.

That Red State has a direct link to the, uhm, "Daily Stormer" website.

This is described as a neo-Nazi site and it is that.

In which per RS the site refers to Trump as "Glorious Leader."

I'm not linking it and I'm not checking it.

The way you wing nuts have lost your minds over Trump I can't honestly say you can be trusted to be anywhere near him. So there is that.

No. Dude has already been denounced.
Not after he spewed a  litany of hateful, racist nonsense, including calling for revolution and hanging the president in the "White Mosque," though. Only after reporters broke the story. Oh, and then they lied about having parted ways with the guy a long time ago even though he was clearly employed by Trump two months ago.

I personally would have hoped for denunciation after all the hate speech, but I suppose I'm not as cool with insanity and racism as Donald Trump.  Not really a surprise.

I hate to defend Trump in any way, but...

I spent a lot of time here defending Obama's relationship with Jeremiah Wright. My view is not Hillary's: you should NOT be defined by whom your friends are. To me that reeks of McCarthyism. I said it in 2008 and I'm saying it now. I don't give a damn what his butler thinks.

Im convinced that Trump is a bigot and a racist on the strength of his own statements. I don't need anyone else's.

You can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep.
- McCarthyism.
