protectionism*
We already spend hundreds of billions of dollars on the military to protect us. Maybe part of the problem is the military if they can't protect us with the amount of money we throw at them.

Ironically, Republicans tend to not want to fund education because of "all the wasted money" that goes into it. Maybe, just maybe, they should be asking those same questions towards the military since Republicans always want to fund it and give it more money yet always tell us we're in a constant state of fear and need more protection. What kind of farce are you guys believing?

Do you understand what protectionism is when it comes to trade? I don't think you do

Not really. Trump has tried several times to build luxury in Russia, something which would've required some coordination with the Russian business mobsters.
There are lots of problems and risks investing in anything in Russia. It's easier and less risky to invest in 3rd world countries. Trump seems like a Gordon Gekko type investor to me. And by that I mean, he invests where government(s) can't screw him over. I think Trump is pretty corrupt, but being in bed with Russia seems really  :tinfoilhat: to me.

For those of you who dislike Trump,  what has he done in life that makes him such a bad guy?
He has always struck me as a petty, classless, dooshy, egomaniac, little man. That's fine and all for a reality TV "star" and generic product huckster, just wouldn't want to work for or with him, and definitely not have him in charge of anything that I think is important.

They both have similar backgrounds, they are both attention whores and yes I do think Cuban wants that. Trump beat him to it. He is enraged with jealousy at this point.
Sure sure he is

And you are slipping on the "+" Hundred point difference. Better get catching up with your alias's

If you are buying the Russians hacked these emails and are responsible for giving them to wikileaks I believe the thinking would be not that Trump has anything to do with it, but that Putin wants to put the US in a bad spot and electing Trump does that.

From the Washington Post. I think the real reason Trump is not releasing his returns is because his accountants have been playing games and he may have a huuge tax bill coming. The George Will thing is personal now.
Hard to see how he gets through election without releasing them.  At some point, have to believe Democrats can use this against him.  He has escaped everything but have to think working class white male would like to see this.

But maybe he is playing the long game.  There isn't much in there and he'll make the Dems look petty in the process.

I think it's likely Russia hacked the emails and gave them to wikileaks. Russia is no fan of multinational corporations, which they know own Hillary. I think they'd be happier with Sanders or Trump. That doesn't mean Trump colluded with Russia regarding the emails anymore than it means Sanders colluded with Russia regarding the emails.

Report away.  I said with all due respect.  But honestly, just got tired of you spamming up these boards.  It's people like you that need to be moderated away.

He didn't risk a lot by putting his name on towers in Hollywood Beach (FL) and Mexico. Just ask the investors who were unsuccessful when they failed in lawsuits post-bubble. He needed to sell his Trump tower idea to some developer in Russia. He probably made more selling to wealthy Russians in the USA.

The bigger Trump supporter you are the more you get attacked, it's why there are so many SILENT Trump supporters. You fancy folks that love hating on Trump supporters are going to be in for a rude awakening after Trump wins in a landslide.

It's more likely it was sold to Chinese investors. They're buying a lot more of our real estate than russian investors are.

Either way, I doubt foreign real estate investors hacked the DNC. The russian government has more reason to do that than russian real estate investors do. To tie Trump to the hacking, there'd have to be a link between Trump and russian government. If true, it's damning to Trumps candidacy... but it's also a theory that's really out there.

That'll learn us

Yup seems like the consensus is Russia did it. Who knows if Putin had anything to do with it.

Think there are definitely people who think Trump would hurt the US and could mess up things in dramatic fashion and leaking these helps Trump. Backhanded compliment by the hackers to Trump.
