Finally! Something I actually like about her.Hillary supposedly carries hot sauce with her at all times.
I haven't seen his MSNBC appearance, but the cartoon itself doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
Asked and answered. Control will pass to his children, who happen to be his closest advisors (aside from himself) and (if we are to believe his statements on his net worth) stand to benefit to the tune of several billion dollars when he repeals the Estate Tax.My favorite is the whole Clinton Foundation pay-for-play line. So, people honestly think he won't find ways to enrich The Trump Organization if he became president? No one's even asked what becomes of that (and it's debts) if he wins.
The tweet doesn't seem to be available any more; what was it, and who tweeted it out?I haven't seen his MSNBC appearance, but the cartoon itself doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
All she has to do is interrupt him or better yet if he tries to interrupt her just rebuke it very forcefully and watch the fireworks.Long article on debate preparation for both sides:

Hillary is going through all of this meticulous preparation and Trump is ignoring it, confident that his genuine personality will show through and that the public will scorn Hillary sounding too expert. Meanwhile she's looking for ways to get in his head, get him pissed off on stage.
It's a fascinating difference of opinion and strategy, but as I was reading it what struck me most forcefully is what a ####ed up method of choosing a President we have.
Would be the biggest long con in history if he pulls it off. Almost worth it for the movie that would get made.Asked and answered. Lincoln-Douglas debate slip your mind? And just think -- before 1960 there were no Presidential debates. Ever.
And the whole idea of "campaigning" has only been around since the late 1800s. In the early days, it was considered to be "rude" and "shameless" to actively campaign for votes. The candidates were expected to be stoic and dignified, while their proxies made the case to the voters on their behalf.
And don't forget that the original text of the Constitution didn't even allow for a popular vote. Everything was chosen by state electors.
So, it could be worse.
1858 is late 1800s
I am commenting only on the fact that Joe Summer said that there were no debates before 1960. That is the only thing I highlighted. I did not comment on anything else bueno.1858 is late 1800s
Ah - didn't catch the bold. Carry on!I am commenting only on the fact that Joe Summer said that there were no debates before 1960. That is the only thing I highlighted. I did not comment on anything else bueno.
I'm slipping today - should have caught that.Lincoln-Douglas debates were when they were running for Senate.
The debates are meaningless. The choice is already made. Its Hillary. Every election has seen the challenger edge closer a little bit in the fall, but the only time we saw the challenger overtake was Reagan in 1980. And that's not what to bet on here.timschochet said:Long article on debate preparation for both sides:

Disagree. The first debate is going to showcase how out of his league Trump is. Hillary is going to remain calm and collected, and get under his skin. Trump is going to rely on grade school insults, and when he gets really flustered he's going to lose a gasket. The debates are meaningless.
I thought this was out there like 2 weeks ago, but can't keep track anymore.ABC Reports Corey Lewandowski “Is Back In The Fold” With Trump Campaign While Remaining Paid CNN Contributor
Wow. Just Wow.
For both the Trump Campaign and for CNN. CNN, cut loose that turkey

Trump called it way back in 2013.
If you poll worse than the bubonic plague it's time to reassess your world viewTrump 0 among AA voters in recent poll, worse than carnies, Ryan Lochte and The Bubonic Plague (all preferred by Hispanic voters, as well).

This is why he's doing everything possible to lose. IMO it was never his intention to win.7 Reasons Why Trump Would Hate Being President

Unnecessarily pissing off groups of people, flip-flopping on his major issues (build a wall, deport illegals, not allow Muslims into the country), not buying TV ads, campaigning in non-battleground states, continuing his ridiculous tweets - that seems like someone who is trying to win to you?I don't get the he's trying to lose thing. I get that maybe he didn't think he could win at the beginning and figured it was good for business to get his name out there.
Now that it's down to him and Hillary I think he absolutely wants to win. It's just that he's never down this before and it's hard even for pros of course he's going to make all kinds of mistakes.
Also there's the part where he's a complete ####### which is also going to make him look bad.
I personally don't think he's actually trying to lose -- but think it's very possible that he doesn't care nearly as much about winning as he does about self-promotion.I don't get the he's trying to lose thing. That ad buys and odd campaigning comes from not knowing what he's doing. This is serious business it fell into his lap from a variety of factors - crap field and the wall stuff hit a nerve seemed to be the biggest.Unnecessarily pissing off groups of people, flip-flopping on his major issues (build a wall, deport illegals, not allow Muslims into the country), not buying TV ads, campaigning in non-battleground states, continuing his ridiculous tweets - that seems like someone who is trying to win to you?

31% of Trump supporters want a wall built along the Atlantic Ocean to keep Muslims out from the Middle East.
In actual relevant polling, Clinton leads by 5 points, the same margin she had a month ago in their polls.PublicPolicyPolling @ppppolls 33m33 minutes ago Raleigh, NC
Among voters who have been to the library in the last yr, Clinton leads 54/37. Among those who haven't, Trump 53/39
I don't think Trump likes losing in general.I personally don't think he's actually trying to lose -- but think it's very possible that he doesn't care nearly as much about winning as he does about self-promotion.
It's not losing if he doesn't want the job and gets a TV network out of it.I don't think Trump likes losing in general.
But there are reasons to suspect that he wouldn't want to be President. The day-to-day work of a President is really hard and boring and horrible compared to being a reality TV star. And the opportunities that Trump will have after all of this is done, as long as he isn't stuck in the White House, will be more lucrative than anything presented to him in a very long time, I think. (Trump Media Empire could be huge if he castrates CEO Roger Ailes before the launch.)
Wonder if this giant wall will stop all the tunnels into the USA.Getting back to the basics of Hating Trump 101 - he's talking about this stupid ### wall and sounds like he might get specific so all the illegals will now know exactly how big of a ladder they need to build.
So dumb, can't believe this is the thing he got traction with starting this whole trainwreck down the tracks.
That's because the woman were either asking for it or are lying....duh.Love the fact that he pals around with sexual predator Roger Ailes and not one objection from the christians who are backing him. Odd business, that.
How old are you?You are confusing libocrites with Trump supporters.
And rather than relying on manipulated news reports, I actually watch the rallies in their entirety, either in person or online. Haven't seen any hatred by the pro-Trump crowd.
The modern left is as hateful and intolerant as Nazis, the KKK, and the hardcore Christians of the past.
I mean, at least Ailes only preys on adults. (As far as we know.)Love the fact that he pals around with sexual predator Roger Ailes and not one objection from the christians who are backing him. Odd business, that.
