I was a little disappointed that Palin didn't use the gravitas she had at the time to improve herself and take on a more prominent political role.  Ultimately she was just satisfied cashing in on what she was.  What a waste.

Obama WAS unqualified.  He'd never run anything ever.  No executive experience to speak of, and it showed during his Presidency.  He's a terrible person, and he's been a disaster as President.  Sorry to shatter your bubble.

Edit to add: While it's a very low bar, I think HRC would have been a better President than Obama these last 8 years. But her time has passed.

Ted Cruz is despised more than anyone else in Washington by the rest of the Republican party precisely because he's a slimy self-serving pile of dog####. You must have missed where he led the whole government shutdown over the debt ceiling for no reason whatsoever outside of personal grand-standing and setting his Presidential run this year.

As far as his "plans," yeah, if you one of those folks that believe that the Bible should play a huge role in the US government and policy, then w're not going to have much to discuss.
