Trump apparently just did an interview with Larry King on RT America....a "news" organization based in Russia that is basically a Putin propaganda arm.  No words.

These are the only times I like listening to Hannity types. I love the way they make this sound great when you know they have the exact opposite script prepared if it wasn't their guy.

Not really sure what that has to do with this. We are talking about Donald and how he curls up in Putin's lap when Putin says something nice about him
What you are saying doesn't make sense when Trump makes a statement like this

"I think when Putin calls me brilliant, I'll take the compliment. The fact is it's not going to get him anywhere."

Nothing wrong with taking a compliment and trying to keep it friendly with a very powerful country.

Wouldn't it be nice if we got along with Russia instead of being in another war? If you want to go to war with Russia vote Hillary, if you want to make America great again vote Trump.

Is that what is happening? That's cute.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Obama and his tone directed towards Muslims.

Trump likes to keep it friendly, when there are compliments. If Putin joked about Trump's short fingers, how would Donald take it?

These compliments about dictators (Un, Gaddaffi, Hussein, Assad, etc) don't bother me so much. However... what do you think about Trump's views on the use of nuclear weapons and proliferation? Trump asks why do we make them and why can't we use them.

You mean lying about something Putin never actually said?

Can you call him racist when he says "laziness is a trait in blacks?"

How about this?

“It is almost impossible to imagine the United States Senate without Robert Byrd. He was not just its longest serving member, he was its heart and soul. From my first day in the Senate, I sought out his guidance, and he was always generous with his time and his wisdom,” Clinton wrote.

So, Em, you post a link where HRC never mentioned a race; she said "kids" & "gangs."

You can't call someone racist for what you perceive as an attack an age group or affiliation with criminals, neither of those things as a race.

superpredator
A term used to refer to dangerous youth in which rehabilitation seemed improbable. The term is considered a racist term as it was used almost exclusively in regard to African American youth.

OMG seriously??? Robert Byrd. You can not be that stupid. It has been debunked so many times. Just pathetic you would bring it up

This is a fantastic point and it succinctly illustrates the clear difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump:

Hillary is friendly with former racists; Trump is friendly with active racists.

Before he died, my grandfather was a vile racist and former KKK member. He imparted much love and knowledge to me as a child. I was able to take that love and still see he was ####### crazy in race relations. I honored him as a family patriarch, but I would never support him nor his racist agenda in any  setting.

Can we call liberals racist when they say blacks are too lazy or stupid to wait in line for an hour once every 4 years to get an ID so they can vote?

Some more info on your hero Byrd:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan_members_in_United_States_politics

Robert Byrd[edit]

Senator Robert Byrd was a Kleagle, a Klan recruiter, in his 20s and 30s.
Democrat United States Senator Robert C. Byrd was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter. After leaving the group, Byrd spoke in favor of the Klan during his early political career. Though he claimed to have left the organization in 1943, Byrd wrote a letter in 1946 to the group's Imperial Wizard stating "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia." Byrd attempted to explain or defend his former membership in the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old.[1]

Despite being the only Senator to vote against both African American U.S. Supreme Court nominees (liberal Thurgood Marshall and conservative Clarence Thomas) and filibustering the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Byrd later said joining the Klan was his "greatest mistake." The NAACP gave him a 100% rating on their issues during the 108th Congress.[2] However, in a 2001 incident Byrd repeatedly used the phrase "white n-words" on a national television broadcast.[3]

:lmao:

Surprisingly not all blacks are as ignorant and intolerant as middle aged white males who spend 10+ hours a day posting on a fantasy football off topic forum..

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/09/08/trump-gains-hispanics-africanamericans/

Donald Trump is favored by one-in-four African Americans and one-in-three Latinos, according to a poll conducted by the Boston Herald and Franklin Pierce University.

The poll showed that Trump has a very favorable rating among among 18.4 percent of 105 Hispanics, and 10.5 percent of 101 African Americans. He also scored a “somewhat favorable” rating among 16.4 percent of Hispanics and 13.3 percent of African Americans. Combined, he gets a positive rating from 35 percent of Hispanics and 24 percent of African Americans.

That’s apparently better than Gov. Mitt Romney, whose nationwide ballot-box score in 2012 was 27 percent support among Hispanics and 6 percent of African Americans.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/09/06/military_trump_supporter_vs_cnns_costello_a_silent_majority_of_black_people_that_support_trump.html

Retired Brigadier General Remo Butler joins CNN's Carol Costello to discuss Donald Trump, the military advice he is receiving, Trump's foreign policy thinking, being black and supporting Trump, Trump's outreach to minority communities and much more.

Butler said while not all black people support Trump, there is a "silent majority of black people" who do.

"As you can see I don't wear my hair in dreadlocks because I don't have hair. Two, I speak fairly well, people can understand me. Three, I don't live in a black neighborhood so I'm not really worried about going out, getting shot. Most of my friends are like me. We are, as Reagan said, the silent majority," Butler said.

"There is a silent majority of black people -- and you notice I don't use the term African American -- of black people out there," he said. "And I believe that a lot of those people want the same things that Donald Trump wants. But you have to show those people, me included, that you really want what I want and you will help me achieve what I want. Don't take us for granted."
You guys can keep playing the race card, but unfortunately for you there isn't a single black person who knows Trump personally who thinks he is a racist.

You mean something nobody has actually said?

No wonder you are a Trump guy, you like to spread untruths a lot.

It would have been nice if he had known it, but expecting one person to know everything about everything is nit realistic.

you could spend your whole life studying one policy area or one foreign country and not know everything.  The quantity of information is incredibly vast.  This is why a President has advisors and whole cabinet departments to study these issues, because they are complex.

Im more concerned that a former Senator and Secretary of State doesn't know #### about data classification or Cyber Security.  That's the kind of ignorance that is much more problematic.

Except Trump has also made it clear that he has no interest in listening to advisors. It's not as if he admits to being ignorant on a variety of topics and will rely on smart people to get up to speed and make decisions. He exposes ignorance and then turns around and proclaims how smart he is and how he's got all the best ideas.

And i love that a few of you still think he is going to get some decent portion of the black vote.  You are right that they are not ignorant enough to fall for his stupidity.

I find it odd that so many in the FFA are terrified of Putin yet they defend/ignore/make excuses for Muslims who shoot up Christmas parties, shoot up gay night clubs, run over children with a bus, behead priests, push homosexuals off of roof tops, stab mothers and daughters for wearing bikinis, shoot up army bases, shoot up concert halls and cafes, sexually assault children, sexually assault women at concerts, and on and on and on.
One is a specific person responsible for his own actions. The other is a large group of people whom you cannot blame for the individual perpetrators of the acts you list.

Donald Trump is surging. Cutting into Hillary's lead in most of the battleground states. Yesterday I pointed out that so long as Hillary had a 10 point lead in Pennsylvania she was in great shape. But as of this morning it's only a 5 point lead, 48-43.

This is no longer the media trying to make this into a horse race. Its a horse race.

I'm still stupefied that Trump then Pence then some of the Republican establishment are going after this line of reasoning vis a vis Putin v Obama.   I know attacks haven't stuck against Trump since he says so much outlandish stuff that it's almost too much to process, but this is one that middle of the road Americans can understand in easily understandable sound bites.  I know the Ailes/Bannon's MO is to just attack, attack, attack, but this just seems like one attack too far.

I mean I really can't wait for the commercial where Clinton lays out in 3 sentences what Trump's Russian America will look like.  Oh wait it'll take multiple different commercials in different iterations that can be played from now until the election.

If there's one thing most Americans can understand it's that Russia is a country we don't want.

We don't want Syrian refugees, Sharia Law, and sanctuary cities either. The Russian angle is a loser.  This isn't 1984.

Zdravstvujtye Comrades! I have come in support of comrades Trump & Pence. In my country, you don't sign up for campaign, campaign signs YOU up.

This is an overused expression, but appropriate: Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave right now that these are Republican nominees saying these things. For someone who grew up under the threat of nuclear war, this has been unreal.

If trump swept ALL the close states, he still loses. He would need to do that and win a solid blue state. The closest is virginia which is +5 hillary. If not that, then trump needs one of colorado, pennsylvania, michigan, or new hampshire which range from +6 to +8 hillary. So trump has no shot.

I'll give white people credit for falling for Trumps rhetoric. I think those white people know exactly what they're doing. They're not ignorant to what they are doing. They know they want to cleanse America of anything and anyone that doesn't look like them, agree with them, think like them, act like them. And, you can call me racist. It won't bother me at all. But when you're looking to vote a guy who has shared, expressed, talked about doing any and all of the above, there is only one way I can think of those voters. It sucks because Trump and his voters "want" to turn America into 14th, 15th, 16th century England... again. Go learn some American history as to why and how this country was founded and he idea of America. When you do, come back and apologize to everyone once you realize how ignorant Trump and his voters sound.
Trump wants to make America great for everyone... not just white people, this isn't some special club for certain people.

For about the 100th time this feels like a long, weird dream.  I mean...how in the world did we get to the point where this doesn't end a political career immediately?

Pennsylvania hasn't voted Republican in a Presidential election since 1988. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also, you have to go all the way back to Harry Truman to find a candidate that led significantly on Labor Day and went on to lose.

Of course no one with a functioning brain will rest completely easy until 11/9, but this still isn't anywhere near a "horse race," unless you mean Secretariat in the Belmont.
