The difference between this and all the other "death knells" is that this one is quotable and catchy.  It won't go away.

"Grab her by the #####" is going to be a meme.

I thought Jimmy Carter fantasized  about this stuff??  If every person was recorded it would be ugly. Love to hear Mrs. Clinton after the Monica scandal.
The problem with this argument (and with Trump's response) is that it is not just banter. If Trump grabbed women by the genitals, using his "star power" to get them to acquiesce, that's sexual assault. If he grabs women and starts kissing them without their consent, as he bragged about doing on the tape, that's sexual assault.

CNN trump correspondent just brought up apology/forgiveness/blood of jesus Christ. JC is about to take center stage in the campaign. Easiest lie a politician can make.

What is it when you use your power to coerce an intern into letting you stick a cigar in her hole?  Or when that guy's spouse backs those actions?

Today Trump made America great again - by assuring that Clinton won.
This also validates the type of person you are if you still support him.

What do I say to a person who just said that he is still the better must upstanding candidate? I dont want to say anything that will get me banned, so I'll just use a bunch of these ()*&%&%&(@$)I&^#$#T^&!@$@$#%&*!

Are we actually surprised at this new audio?

How about we stop consuming this high fructose news syrup and actually demand real policy discussion?

It bothers me so much that things like this have a bigger impact on the election than actual policy debate.  This is obviously not a good thing for trump, but shame on all of us for consuming these sound bites instead of demanding real discussion of the issues.  If you're angry about government inaction on global warming and eagerly watching and reading news about trump's hand size and genital handling, you shoulder part of the blame.  Shame on all of us.

You will be alive to vote for maybe 15 presidential elections and there are a few short months of actual discussion that determine who will lead the world and we are still talking about whether this candidate sweats or that candidate inhaled or this candidate said something mysogenistic 11 years ago.  We get some lip service discussion of whether trump is going to build a wall or clinton is going to require women to make as much as men.

Imagine them talking about what they actually want to do with health care and whether they'd fix obamacare or how they'd replace it.  Or talking about the economy in 10 years when transportation is more automated and truck drivers are out of work?  Can we talk about the deficit as a multiple of gdp?  Of course not.  Trump has little hands and hilary has a weird shoulder wiggle thing.

If you want it to change you can't accept it when the other guy is the one getting skewered for some awful but ultimately inconsequential gaffe.  Please, guys on my side of the aisle, take the high road this time.  Don't feed the beast.

those are lofty thoughts but this is Trump you're talking about...he doesn't know policy...he speaks with 5 grade grammar in twitter sound bites.  If they wanted a policy debate they should've nominated a different candidate.  You reap what you sow.

Unlike you Beav, Tim admitted he was wrong.
What @timschochet wrote was every bit as horrifying, if not worse, than Trump.  But, saying he's sorry if he offended anyone by condoning rape of a minor and blaming the minor for being provocative and promiscuous doesn't excuse him one bit.  I understand some who are on the same team as Tim look for any reason to defend him when he barfs up disgusting, incoherent, insensitive garbage.  But, if I were in his corner, I'd steer way clear of this in any discussion about Trump and his wretched comments.

:lmao:  I love people like you that act like you're pulling the lever for someone that isn't a horrible, miserable human being.

This is excellent off ramp opportunity for Trump supporters if they wish to take it.  They had already overlooked so much baggage that I think they felt compelled to keep doing it when new stuff came along.  They sort of became pot committed.  But this is disgusting enough along with what happened after the debate to where anyone could say "you know what...I have a wife...I have daughters...this is not ok. I'm DONE". Trump was talking about sexual assault in that video.  This is a very credible "final straw".

Chris Matthews asking Michelle Bachmann how evangelicals will explain this to their families and their churches... she doesn't answer the question and just says that Trump will be a better president than Clinton.
Sadly, a lot of evangelicals will find it easy to turn a blind eye to this kind of thing. They make sure their women understand their "submissive" role.

Megan Kelly said Ryan won't be attending the event he was supposed to attend with Drumpf tomorrow.

Did the Dems just play their Trump card??

It's hilarious to see people cling to a candidate or ideology after that candidate or ideology has been shown time and time again to be morally or intellectually bankrupt.  Yet we see it everyday, and we'll it with Trump supporters after these revelations.  It shows the amazing power of people to lie to themselves if they've already invested enough time in a failing candidate or ideology.  Some people simply can't say, "I was wrong.  I was fooled."
