12 Team PPR:

Trade Summary:
* woof.com gets: Corey Davis WR TEN
* TD Roulette gets: Allen Robinson WR JAC, Kenny Golladay WR DET; 2019 1st round pick  2018 2nd round pick

Both have solid teams. Woof had better team and was looking to replace Robinson. Seems like a big overpay for Davis.

Big overpay, paying for Davis's ceiling.

I made this move this morning and the 3 people in the league went into an uproar asking the Commish to overturn the trade, or even take a player out of the trade to make it fair.

league details are best ball start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3wr, 1te, 1 superflex, 2 regular flex kicker and defense, ppr scoring with 1.25 ppr for tight ends passing touchdowns are 5 points all others are 6. There are also small points for completions, rushes, first downs, but not for the qb throwing a first down. They all equal out

I sent Kizer and Cameron Brate

I received Lynch and Ertz

I am a contender he is rebuilding and only has 1 qb, I have Wilson, Stafford, Siemien. I only had Gronk at tight end.

Jimmy Graham? or Jimmy G the backup qb?

Baldwin

Henry.

Disagree, and I've been on on the Golladay train since day 1.  I don't think Robinson ever comes close to his peak year again.  I'd take Davis side in this one.
That is thing. Robinson doesn't have too. You can hate Robinson,  but here and now, all the value is on that side of the trade.

The best part is a really good owner takes, hates Robinson and wait 4 week or until the off-season and flips Robinson. The OP said both had solid teams, so 4 weeks from now the new owner of Robinson flips him and that 1st for Hilton or Green to a rebuilding team and now they got Green and Golladay for Davis.

I don't think Robinson and a 1st is getting you Green unless that 1st is a legit shot at the Saquon Barkley sweepstakes, which this one isn't.  Robinson is one of those guys who always seems to be high up in the dynasty rankings but never actually brings home that value in trades.

I would laugh at a Green for ARob and a 1st offer.  I would mildly chuckle at Golladay, ARob, and a 1st.

I think it was a mild overpay, but now is the only time you'll get him for that.  First time he pops for 100 and a TD he's untouchable.

It's a bad deal for him, he could probably get a 1st for Ertz and Lynch separately. No trades should be vetoed though without collusion

16 team PPR Dynasty with 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 flex, 1 TE

Sent: Isaiah Crowell and '19 1st (likely mid)

Received: LeSean McCoy

His team started 0-3. Mine is tied in 1st in the division with a pretty strong lineup except previously at RB. Makes my RBs McCoy, Abdullah, Riddick.

Maybe it is just because I am down on McCoy, but the 1st should have been enough or just Crowell. I tried to trade Ajayi for Crowell and a 1st and was rejected,

I think Crowell may be falling in value soon at the rate his season has started. Seems like solid exit value on him to "buy low" on McCoy, who has put up respectable but not incredible numbers in PPR.

I like the move to get McCoy

FWIW, I acquired McCoy in two leagues this offseason, each for a 2018 1st (near lock playoff teams).  Not sure I would have paid what you did although Crowell's star is fading a bit.

Team A: gave Brees

Another Cam trade

32 team league. Best team (so far) gave Cam to a bottom 3 for Matt Ryan.

I think Crowell is a mediocre NFL RB and fantasy asset so I don't see many giving McCoy for him alone. Even if they wanted to rebuild they could do better.

12 team ppr dynasty

Qb rb wr wr te fx d k

Traded Perine to the thompson/kelley owner for zay jones.   I have good rb depth with zeke, cook, fournette, mccaffrey.  Just not impressed with perine at all thus far, so figured ill take the receiver instead.

I have had enough of Amari Cooper.  I know Crowell has been useless, but I still believe there is value there.

12 team PPR

I gave:  Cooper, Breida, 3rd rounder (fringe playoff team, has Hyde)

I got:  Crowell, Moncreif, 1st, 2nd, 4th ( all from a decent team, non-playoff last year)

I get the panic. However I feel this will be followed with regret. He is entering his third year...one of few to start with two 1000 yard seasons at WR....young promising QB to grow with....plenty of flashes of talent. I think he is still valuable.

I am fine selling Cooper but this is pretty light for him

Both likely playoff teams

A gave Gillislee, Mike NEP RB, Year 2019 Round 1 Draft Pick

B gave Jeffery, Alshon PHI WR, Year 2018 Round 4 Draft Pick

Alshon becomes A's 3rd wr, he has Antonio and Evans but was bad at wr3 and 4. Wasn't starting gillislee except to cover byes.

Gillislee becomes B's top scoring RB but he also has Lamar Miller, Ingram and Gore.

Hear you, and very much respect both your opinion as well as Dr. O and the Bagel who have liked your post. I didnt feel good about it.

However, its not just this horrid start to the season that has me concerned.  He sucked for most of the second half of last year too.  Had a monster week 8, and then only one week after that with over 60 yards (76 in week 16 vs Indi).  In his last 11 games he has 2 games total over 60 yards, with 62 in week 1 this season.  76 yards is his best yardage total in his last 11 games.  He is dropping passes every week, and being outplayed statistically by Jared Cook.

It is certainly possible that I sold low and he rebounds.  He is young, and has a great young QB and a good team behind him...but I may have also sold before people realize how bad it has really been and the bottom falls completely out on this guy.  He may really not be all that good.  The Trent Richardson of WR.

ETA - I am higher than most on Moncreif and Crowell, which also helped me pull that trigger.  I think both of those guys are great buy-low targets right now with good futures ahead as their currently horrible situations inevitably get better as early as later this season.

Out of curiosity did the bad fantasy owner who traded Evans and McCoy cite disrespect regarding the anthem as a reason?

This trade didn't actually happen ...but was so very very close to going through, thought it still might be informational. Neither owner felt great about it  and one side eventually passed

12 team dynasty start QRRWWWTKD

Team A gets Mike Williams, Marlon Mack, 1st/18

Team B gets Antonio Brown, 3rd/18

team A is not terrible but unlikely playoff team stung by Luck injury and no good RBs to speak of.

Team B is title contender

Hah, Team B should have felt amazing about that.

Going to take a wild guess that it was the owner of Team A that decided to "eventually pass."

I would be surprised if "eventually" was longer than 4.5 seconds.

Team A I think was looking at this as a mini rebuilding opportunity. He's pretty thin with picks in coming years. Browns 2017 season is worthless to him at this point, Brown is turning 30 and Bens age is a factor. His best RBs are Lamar Miller and Rex Chapman. Add RB Mack, plus pick up another 1st in the Barkley sweeps. and of course Williams

Team Bs motivation is obvious.

Just was interesting to me...maybe no so much to others :)

Team A could get about 4x that much, unless you love Williams or Mack...

Trading Antonio makes sense. But get more.

If it is so bad then you should have offered something better, shouldn't have been to hard to beat.
That's not how this works. I'm not throwing out multiple terrible offers to every team in the leagu e every single week hoping someone takes one. Thats actually kind of a ####ty thing to do. We don't know if the owner put DJ on the block or if someone threw something at the wall and the DJ owner took the first offer he got. No context here so you're dead wrong.
