agreed. Pickens has the look of a future top 12 WR to me if things fall right in Pitt. I wouldn’t give away Pickens for that.

Thomas is a blank - 31 year old concussion prone. It’s basically 1.03 for that pile of picks. 2 future firsts & a future 2nd. Man.

The 3 firsts will be later picks but still. Robinson and Gibbs will almost certainly go 1-2 since those teams need RBs. Some good WRs available but not sure anyone worth that haul.

Agree with everyone else, the picks for sure. 3 late 1st's, two mid 2nd's, Chark and Okonkwo for 1.3, yeah I'll do that all day long. Logan Thomas may never play another down in the NFL. Even so, he's TE15 or so when healthy which is almost never.

He's a tough player to gauge value. As odd as it is to say, he may be helped by leaving Buffalo given their usage of RBs. I think he's a very solid all around back - but I'm not sure any team is signing him as a feature back. Unlike FFPC, my dynasty leagues have big enough rosters (30) that expand in the offseason so I'll hold and see.
I'm sure I'll be in the minority, but I'm not trading him for a second in 2024 (although the nature of FFPC leagues changes that dynamic making it a decent move there.
Eh, it’s a 16 team league? How many roster spots as well? In terms of a 12 team league this is trading 1.3 for the 2.4, 2.12, a future late 1st, mid-2nd, and a 3rd plus the players. I imagine calc’s would favor the package but that’s a lot of middling stuff that makes it murkier in my eyes and not a slam dunk.
However since those truly are 1sts and not 2nds, the future picks have a chance to be much higher so I definitely get the allure of that side. If I knew the rosters I think I would be more comfortable with the package, doesn’t take much for a middle of the pack team to be terrible or a contender to miss the playoffs.

I'm not as high on Pickens as a lot of people in here are and think there is a world where he is basically Davis in a couple of years but if the Bills draft another WR, Davis could be nothing but a field stretcher. I'm not a Pickens truther and I wouldn't make this deal but I also tried to tell everyone in here last offseason that they were too high on Gabe Davis. Pickens has too much upside and Davis is heading the other direction to make this move.

Would be a steal for Pickens…you get a young WR with definite stud potential and you only have to give up a #2 and a WR who’s value is trending down…I own Pickens on one of my Dynasty teams and this is a deal I wouldn’t even counter because it is not close.

I agree this helps you in the short term. Adams should have at least a couple of years in him. Cooks is a bit of a gamble - he's not happy in HOU, but HOU refused to put him on the block for trade.
So IF Cooks can be productive, I like it a lot. I still like it even of Cooks is more of a WR2, because you're getting some nice picks back as well.
This is a good deal for you if your win-now window is open. Down the road you may regret dealing London.

I get it if you are a win now team but I really hate making this kind of trade. It might just be my personal experience but trading for old guys never seems to work out for me. Plus, who knows who will be the LV QB this year. If Rodgers goes there you'll be very happy. If it's Stidham or Anthony Richardson or Levis not so much.

Without knowing the IDP scoring it’s tricky to judge, but I like the Lawson/Campbell side here.
I like Njoku, but I’m kind of out on Sutton. I guess maybe Payton can squeeze some magic out of Russ, but I think Russ is mostly cooked.
Lawson is only 27, and I assume he’s going to be a priority acquisition for a decent defense if the Jets part ways.
Plus 2x 2nds and an aging but still productive Campbell tips this towards Team A’s return, IMO.
Fair trade though.

I thought so, too. If pressed, I like the Njoku side just for his potential. It depends whether Cleveland lets him run routes next year. If they turn him into another receiving option and don't draft any wideouts, I think he's poised for a big year, and this trade pendulum swings over to the person acquiring him. The person acquiring him very much needed a TE, too. Also, we're a start 1RB/1TE/1 RB or TE league, so having that extra TE designation to plug into that RB/TE flex spot is huge. It's a chess piece.
The other guy (me) had only a first round pick and didn't want to helplessly watch quality RBs falling into the third round. So the two seconds were key instruments to have. I really, really like Njoku, but ensuring that those RBs don't fall -- and if they fall, fall to me -- was a huge consideration. The depth of the RBs in this draft sort of forced the deal.
It's tackle heavy, not big-play centered. Campbell will likely mean more than Lawson will, though if Lawson comes back second-year strong from the achilles, then that's icing on the cake.

Yeah, fair all around then. In that format, with the TE/RB slot, and without big play for IDPers, I probably lean slightly towards the Njoku side as well. Though Lawson was better than I expected his 1st year back, and he could take another jump in 2023.
But I do like both sides of this deal - and yeah, there should be some quality RBs at the 2.07 & 2.12 spots. Could even be a tasty TE or 2, but in this format I'd expect them to go mid-2nd? Never know though - it's a deep TE & RB class, which seems to set up well for you. I realize it's early, but do you have any particular targets at 2.07/2.12?

I think it's way too early. I'm looking at rankings, sure, and I have an idea of around where some guys I covet are going, but the guys I want there are destined to move up, IMO, after the combine. I think if I fall in love with guys I'll be inflexible, and part of this is going to require flexibility because the picks are a bit later in the second. Really, I didn't want a team or two scooping up starting running backs in the third without at least a shot at them. If that were the case, those teams would dominate that league and I'd have sat by and idly watched good players go off the board late.

2nd round picks are always nice to stack up. People never seem to mind giving them away, and at the same time they can always be added to a package to get something better back.
So yeah - if you’re making space, you could do worse.
Team A got over on Team B. I don't even know how you could have talked that Neanderthal into such a one sided deal in your favor. Absolute highway robbery. It borders on collusion and should be vetoed immediately.
Ok. Just joking. It was an even deal and well worked out. I think it was a win-win for both of us. I had the LB depth as Campbell was likely my LB5 or LB6 and Lawson was also pretty far down my DL depth chart (DL4/5). I see it more as the picks for the Njoku and Sutton. Both are young guys and while I could have gotten a perennial starter with those picks I would rather take the upside of two guys that have been successful when healthy in the NFL. I think it was a deal well crafted giving us each what we were looking for.
McBride showed a little near the end of the year, solid stuff, but not anything overly impressive and next year he'll likely have no Kyler early and then deal with Ertz returning later. With the slew of TE's coming in this year I'd rather just free up a spot for a second.

Definitely the #2...he could turn into something decent but not anything you can't find in the draft or via trade when you want to...would rather have the #2 as a trade asset or to use.

Got no issues with either side...if you like Etienne better than Gibbs or the WRs makes a ton of sense...if for some reason you don't than this is a great cash-out...if I had to pick a side I would go with Etienne because you have removed any bust factor.

I thought Watson's value went up, a lot. A little worried about his ability to stay on the field but he looks like a stud in a weak looking WR draft, seems like an equitable trade to me, truly surprised by the reactions that it's one side.

In 1QB, I'd want one of those picks in the top 5. Further, I thought FFFPC had short benches. I would not do this deal, but its probably in the ballpark for Bijan.
I offered this exact trade up to someone a few days ago and have been mullling doing it in another league. Feel it's very fair.

He showed some flashes on big plays but did little else. Also a large part of why he was attractive last year was being matched up with Rodgers (maybe not for you) and it looks highly likely that that's now coming to an end.
I don't think he lost value, but wouldn't have guess he gained value. - He was getting drafted in the 1.09-2.01 range last season in what was considered a weaker draft than this year's, so surpirsed to see him go for 1.04
With that said for me personally 2022 draft class looks > than 2023 draft class so maybe the person trading for Watson also feels that way.

I know on my existing teams I'd prefer the 1.1 by a wide margin because of roster space, to say nothing of performance. If I had a barren roster I think I'd still pass on the picks. Maybe it works out if they nail some of those picks but I'm not moving back like that until the NFL draft has concluded and I know what I'm moving back to likely draft.
His flashes were massive, in fact his flashed are so massive that his routine plays look like flashes, and he was raw as could be. I'd have him as the #1WR right now vs the rookies, it's close but he won't fall under WR3.
I thought his performance had about zero do with Rodgers and in fact I recall Rodgers exiting a game that Watson was doing meh in and not being used and Love immediately threw him pass he housed.
He's a physical stud who is from a small school and the arrow is up, he flashed immense talent and spent about half a season as a WR1. Not sure what people are looking for.
