Are we in the 1.02-1.04 range or 1.09-1.11 range. Big difference IMO on where the picks fall

The 1st was my own and I am defending champion and dont' plan on falling off (roster is stacked). 2nd was someone else's I acquired in a previous deal... call it a mid 2nd.

This is the most rational way to look at this, I agree.

I looked at it like that too - I said “random 1st & 2nd doesn’t bridge the gap”.

Since we don’t know, I’m on Chase by a lot. If that 1st had a specific number, and it was a good draft class, maybe that evaluation changes for me.

But probably not.

Given that I’d agree with consensus here and I like the Chase side, though I apparently see this as closer than most.

Most likely Breece’s last season with the Jets, so the team that does sign him will use him. I don’t put too much credence in one statement made by a new head coach prior to even seeing his players on the field. Good trade for you.

RBBC comments are pretty much irrelevant in 2025…most teams use some form of it…IMO you just want to make sure the RBs you target are viable in the passing game.

I have a league with those exact same rules (I had to check and see if this thread just happened in that league to see if we were accidentally in the same league, lol) and this seems like a no brainer for the team getting the picks.

Honestly DK probably isn't worth a future 1st in most traditional dynasty leagues where there is no cost to hold a player, and while this ruleset isn't as bad as a traditional contract league where you just lose him after a year, the contract still makes him worth even less than a normal dynasty league. There is a cost to keeping him beyond 1 year (you have to use your franchise tag on him which could otherwise be used on someone else, and if your league is like mine that tag comes with a minimum length contract term that is going to be high relative to Metcalf's age).
