Is the FBG guild on PC, Xbox, or PS4? And what area?

Seamless cross-platform gaming can't get here soon enough.
Xbox. I'm just a recruit so I can't do any invites or anything. We need to setup a Guild Store and Bank so we can dump stuff there that others can use if it's outside of our builds ie light armor or heavy armor, greatswords, staffs, etc....

Can you be in more than one guild?

I saw somewhere you can be in 5 but I am not sure. I'll look and see what I can come up with.

ETA so you can be a member of 5 Guilds. You need 10 members to gain access to the Bank and then 50 members to gain access to the Store

I'm Xbox and will join as soon as I get an invite, but I'm just starting so I won't have anything to offer yet

I'm only level 9 so I am right there with you. If I can I would happily invite any XB guys, not sure if we can all be moved to Officers or not though.

One big advantage to the inventory is that you can dump all your crafting items into the bank and when you go to a blacksmith station you have access to everything. You don't have to carry it with you. Same with clothing and wood. Whenever I head out of town on quests I have less than 10 items on me: some health boosts, some gems both filled and empty - that's it.

Be very careful about leveling up your crafting skills - you can outgrow your ability to make things in the crafting writs. For example I was happily doing the daily writ quests by crafting weapons with iron made from iron ore, which I was collecting out and around. Then I upgraded to be able to craft steel. Suddenly all of my daily writs requested steel weapons and I had the ability - but not the steel. I still had only iron and iron ore.
Thanks for the tip! But I don't have access to a f'ing bank. Since I am a nightblade the first area doesn't have a bank.
What race? Both my dark elf nightblade and my Orc templar have access to a bank - and they're from different factions.

Found one finally, had to look it up. And I am a wood elf nightblade, started and still in Auridon.

Level 22, mostly in the 2nd area (Stormhaven?) and dipped my toe into the 3rd (Rivenspire) and doing pretty well on my quests usually working them in order lowest to highest so right now I'm doing a couple L20 & L21 quests. Except for Sir Hughes Fate - a level 17 quest in which I just cannot kill this "Omen of Fear" monster, not even close. I first tried at L17 and got my ### handed to me in short order and after a half dozen tries decided to move on to more enjoyable quests. Every time I level up I go back and give it another try and now at level 22 I'm starting to wonder WTF. On evcerything else I can handle monsters or bad guys at my level and usually two of them. If there are 3 then I'm dead and I'm fine with that - I want to lose some fights from time to time especially if I'm outnumbered. But this Omen of Fear has me stumped.

Sorry I had been traveling. I promoted anyone in the guild already and will try to add and promote any of the other names.

Look for me in the game. I'm in Stormhaven and level 17 now. If I'm on, I'll help you kill him.

Who gives that quest? I have to be close to it. I just finished the Asura monastery quest line.

Added the others that put their gamertags in the thread. Anyone else want in just post your gamertag and I'll add you. Can PM if you want as that may be faster. For those in the guild already are you planning on keeping the guild voice channel on? I see Septic Toltec online but he's not in voice chat, I'll always have the guild voice chat on.

So far we have 3 nightblades and 1 dragonknight.

Discovered something new: a few pieces of the "Shrouded Armor Set" - I first had the boots which gave a bonus to health or stamina. Bu itself not my strongest pair of boots. Then I found the Shrouded Pants (bonus to health or stamina) but having two items (and and then 3, 4, or 5 ) gave additional bonuses to things like health regen ,stamina regen, etc.

Also found pieces of sets for light and heavy armor. Hope I continue to find Shrouded Armor - when you get to 5 items you have a cool collective bonus that I'm a little too drunk to recall right now but its awesome

There's also special hidden crafting centers in the world where you can make special sets of armor like that. You need to have researched two traits for each piece first. After you know two traits for, say a cuirass, this place will let you craft a cuirass with a special bonus. Check the wiki for locations. I found one by accident in northern Glenumbra. It looks like an ancient Alyiad ruin, but when you make your way down it's an empty crafting center with tables for smithing, clothing, and woodworking.

As you level up you will need more and more traits... which can take WEEKS, not hours or days. And every slot (legs, chest, helm) is specific to its own traits.

Come end-game you will want a full listing complete.

Thus... start cranking out traits now! If you are a crafter, you need to start immediately. You only have to get it and make it 1 time. So put it on a throw away/vendor item if you want. Level doesnt matter. I made about 500,000 gold on crafted medium sets (blue quality) in a week of hard selling. My partner would make a matching epic (purple) bow or staff. He made about 200k as just a crafter who handed his goods to me.

I also got a 48 hour ban as they tried to see if I was doing something illegal to get all that gold. I was just crafting lvl 50+1-5 complete sets.

*My guild played on PC for about 6 months. We won the game and moved on. :D

Oh yeah... there are some traits that are far more valuable then others.

ARMOR --- Kind of in that order.

Infused (Bloodstone) Increases armor enchantment effect.
Impenetrable (Diamond) Increases resistance to critical hits.

Divines (Sapphire) Increases Mundus Stone effects.

Reinforced (Sardonyx) Increases total armor and spell resistance.
Well-Fitted (Almandine) Reduces the cost of sprinting.

Sturdy (Quartz) Avoids decay on death.
Exploration (Garnet) Increases exploration experience.

Training (Emerald) Increases armor skill line experience.

WEAPONS --- Just the ones that help you fight.

Particulary + Critical%. +Penetration.

On the crafting front, unlock the research stuff as quickly as you can. It makes a big difference when you're doing 2 and then 3 at a time - though I find I haven't had to unlock Woodworking because I've never gotten more than 2 at a time. Dunno why.

Also, level your unlocks along with your character level. For example, when you're 26-35, stay on the Orich, Cotton/Leather and Beech levels. There's a lot of places you can steal and deconstruct, which gives you materials for the crafting writs. If you go to unlock Hickory, for example, before your player is level 36 - it'll be a lot harder to find Hickory and that's what you'll be expected to make for the crafting writs... which in turn makes it harder to level those skills.

IS there a guide to that out there? And sorry about earlier, I could hear you fine until I put my headset on and then I could see you speaking but couldn't hear you.

I haven't found anything particularly insightful, but TamrielJournal and a few others have good alchemy guides. I found Keen Eye particularly useful for alchemy and clothing - I found almost no plants before that - and still useful for blacksmithing especially early on.

I think someone mentioned it earlier in the thread, but you also get more XP for deconstructing something someone else constructed. So better to construct and sell, or better yet if anyone wants to do this we can construct and trade. I haven't been able to measure this accurately, but I am also pretty sure you get more XP for constructing and deconstructing things higher than your level.

Also, SAVE any improvement materials... either sell them to someone else for whatever price is, or use them yourselves. Be smart about when you upgrade things though... I try to recraft armor and weapons every 4 levels or so, and you won't usually get out as much as you need to deconstruct. To that end, the hirelings are helpful too.

Anyone else just clicking through quest dialogue? I'm getting to the point where I just want to get to the targets - I don't need all the back story and dialogue.

I didn't see any guild invites, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot. Isn't it in the "Social" part? Gamertag: Lordd Valentine on Xbox

I sent one to Lord Valentine is it Lordd Valentine? And you will get a notice that you were invited IIRC.

Sweet, thanks! I can't wait to check tonight. I'm still in my starting spot in Auridon, and just finished getting my basic crafting quests completed. I'm not sure if I want to grind some crafting materials and explore a bit, or work on some of the quests I've picked up. The game is much more bearable since I learned how to leave the voice chat zones :)

I am Audrion as well. What time do you usually get online? I should be on tonight.

We really need a guild bank.
We need 10. I can invite both my kids (young kids 11 and 10) One is a level 11/12 the other level 8/9 I think or we can start inviting randoms? The problem with randoms is that they may pull things out of the bank and bail.

Jealous. I cant drop the money for a new system right now. Wish this was on ps3. Loved skyrim. Bummed

Can make some mule characters to invite to guild?
That's a good idea...The only issue is that I think you have to be a certain level to join a guild no?

Don't be too jealous. Skyrim this isn't. It's close but it's more complicated and less complicated at the same time. It doesn't have the depth that Skyrim had and I think that's related to it being a MMO vs a SP RPG. Regardless I still love it.

Sorry, Hawks, still getting the hang of this game, and I was away from the game for a good chunk of time on multiple occasions the other night trying to help my 13-year old. It's frustrating when you sit down to play and have to keep getting up to do stuff!

I second the mule option for adding players to the guild. I already know I'll need multiple characters as some of the other ones will have to be my blacksmithing/enchanter/etc. characters, as well as be my additional bank slots since there's never enough room to keep everything you want or need. This is very much like WOW that way, having multiple characters and multiple storage options - I think I did read where it will work like that.

Also second that Skyrim this is not. I love, love, love that game but this is definitely different while managing to look sort of like it.

Even combat is a bit different, esp with bow.

Yeah, I sure wish you could zoom in from far away. That was dang near my favorite part of Skyrim.

Man haven't fired this game up in forever....time is sooo limited with kids back in school and swim season back upon us. :kicksrock:
