The premiere got 2.11 million viewers, which is a pretty good debut, but I think FX may have been expecting more carryover from SOA. Funnily enough, SOA got 2.53 mil when it debuted, but it grew steadily over time into the 4mm range, and the finale got 6mm.

Big difference: Episode 1.02 of SOA got 2.2mm viewers, which is a pretty small drop-off from 2.53. ******* Executioner went from 2.11mm to 1.1mm.

I'm still watching. The first episode was horrendous, but I think it has been substantially better since.
