The Iowa FFA are looking for a starting CB and LBs. Also looking for Gs and C as I have created starters for now, but would be willing to have them as backups (would rather have them as backups).

I just got an offer for $600/day + $1000 bonus...this is a bit of a lowball isn't it? I am not a glamour position or anything, but just to train intensely would cost more than this per day.

I have a DT I created yesterday...used flex points to boost it to level 2

Special Abilities: Wall=2, Break Thr=2, Snarl=1, Big Hit = 1, D Line=1

Strength = 18.67

Agility = 20.67

Tackling = 17.08

Speed = 13.2 (includes a +1 from cletes)

How much is a reasonable offer to join a team???

If it's a human offer, you can PM him and tell him you need at least enough to be able to train intensely at your current lvl without losing money. Nothing wrong with negotiating.

Keep in mind that if you're starting you probably won't be training intensely all that often

Keeping your energy level up is more important. You'll want to get back as close to 100 energy after each game as possible. If you're not starting you can probably do this on intense, if you're starting it's unlikely that you can.

if you are level 2 that is more than enough to train intensily every day...I don't think that's a lowball offer for a level 2 player... if you were level 4? Yeah... but not at level 2... Sign a one year deal and leave if he doesn't throw more money at you in a season... or tell him you want more (its not unreasonable to want more than that)

Not really. With the huge influx of users and players on the site, there's a lot of people to choose from. Also, we probably have inflated salaries on our FBG-related teams.

maybe I need to read up more on how this works...I see Intense training is $400 * level, right? Thus it would cost $800 for intense training. Now, maybe intense training isn't needed every day...I am not sure how this works. I guess I'll try to counter offer or look for another team...

I don't think that is too lowball but it doesn't hurt to wait for more. Post your player on the "Players Looking for Teams" board. You will probably get 3-4 offers from this. Some of them can be good. I have placed 5 players on different teams using this and got some good contracts.

For lower level guys 1-3 I pay 600 pe rday plus a 5000 signing bonus.that money usually lasts until about 6th level. Then I renegotiate and them more per day.

What league is that team in?USA A league is playing today at 4pm.32 teams Plus the number of human players is going trhough the roof.If they do the sims on their web server, then 500+ users is going to cause a drag.

Bonus is low, but salary is fine for now. If you're coming off a CPU team,a nd already got a signing bonus from them, I could see it if you were promised a starting spot.

One of the posts said they were up to 12,000 users after only a couple of weeks. Apparently a lot of NFL team message boards get involved and there are whole teams of players from different message boards squaring off against each other. One example given was a team of Washington fans that got in a division with a team of Dallas fans.

I noticed that they started to level up some of their OL. I don't think its gonna make a big difference. Their RB's will go nowhere, and the QB will still end up as a grease spot. Just gotta keep those servers up!

create a WR or LB and get him to level 4 and you are guaranteed a starting gig.

Holy crap..posted on the forum seeking a team...got 9 offers now. Biggest is for 2 yr $1500/day with $1000 bonus and promiss to start...team looks like it has losing record going

Another is a 1 yr at $1200/day +$10000 bonus, another at $1200/day with $4000 bonus

So, it does look like the $600/day offer was a pretty big lowball.
