At what time of day does training focus and training intensity points get added?

My energy is 86 now...will it go up before gametime in 22:15:34?

I have two teams now for humans.

An "A" team that wants humans L4 and above and a farm team for low level humans who are wanting to fastrack with a starting job and signing bonus.

A team -Austin Wineswilling Fancy Boys

Farm Team - Eurotrash Bat Farm
I have a level 4 DE and DT. They are named Stubby McGrath and Speedy McGrath. Send me an offer.Make sure and make Stubby the NT. He has the D-Line General skill and that only works if you are the NT.

Anyone else noticing sacks are really hard to come by? I was looking over team stats and it doesn't seem like anyone has alot of sacks.
I think they're coming.I'm seeing a lot more pressure from the DE spot as I watch games as the speed/agility/specials are becoming more apparent as it looks like the OL people only raise strength/blocking.
Agreed. I think (HULK)(SMASH) will be a sacking machine once he hits level 8.
I noticed the same thing. This guy is one of 2 level 9 DEs. They have 0 sacks combined.

I just boosted my RB 3 levels (to level 4) and I'm wondering what I should put the points in... I'm trying to build a scatback type.

Right now:

Strength: 12 Blocking: 10.6

Speed: 21 Tackling: 9

Agility: 21 Throwing: 10.6

Jumping: 10.6 Catching: 10.6

Stamina: 10.6 Carrying: 14

Vision: 14.56 Kicking: 8

Confidence: 14 Punting: 7

Quick Cut 3 -> Head fake 1.

Training Stamina.

I've got 15 points to spend...

was thinking:

Up speed to 26, get First Step 2 -> Juke 4...

stamina, vision, carrying...its nice that your guy is fast, but he gets tired really fast, can't see the holes all that well, and is going to fumble...

9 carries for 35 yards, 1 TD, 0 fumbles... 2 recs for 10ish yards... not amazing but decent for a level 1. I'm going to hit up the other skills as I level up, but I'm curious to try just boosting a few things up to see what happens. I'll level in a game or two, and all of those points are going to stamina.

ETA: I think you're all neglecting the special abilities as well...

:excited:most people are doing too many special abilities...most special abilities increase your stats for small amount of time... but they don't increase them that much...a 10% increase of 10 is 11... and if it costs 1 point to get that occasional increase, what's the point of putting it there? Why not put it on the attribute so you get the 10% increase all the time?

Is there a guide to what exactly the abilities do?

exactly no...but if you move your mouse over them they are described somewhat...also at level 8 you can increase all the abilities in one tree by 1 point...but I don't see the special abilities having that major of an effect... a 10% bonus per point to an ability becomes a big deal when you get it to level 4 and you are rated 40 in that ability (that would be a momentary increase to 56 at a cost of 6 points)... but I couldn't see it being much more than that as far as amount of bonus goes...and that type of bonus just isn't worth it until you get higher in level...

From one of the admins:I'll just say this about special abilities:

They can give you a sizable situational bonus (certainly quite a bit more than a simple +1 to an attribute might) when they work successfully, but you won't pull them off successfully every time. You can increase the chances of them working by raising their levels.

The actual amount they help you is up to you to discover. The description popups should give you a pretty good idea of what they do, though, so you're not totally blind.

It sounds to me like its not a percentage based stat, then. (In my eyes)

I guess you have these 2 options:1. you get a big play every once in a while, but you make mistakes and are out of position at times

2. you don't get big plays, but you don't make as many mistakes

I think that, especially at the lower levels, the special abilities aren't as important... maybe a couple points, but outside of that, you don't have the speed, vision, and stamina to afford them...

I don't if that guy knows what he's doing though. Yeah, he's been playing a few days longer, but his RB has less yds per carry than both of ours. His QB rating is lower than ours.It could also be the competition they're facing though.

ETA: That guy also only has 5 hurries in 8 games. I have more than that in 4 games.

On the other hand, equipment and your day to day training can raise your attributes; the only thing that can raise your special skills is when you level up and put your skill points towards them. If you're planning on keeping your player around for a while, I think it would be useful to put a small percentage of your points towards the special skills.

Duffman:

I've got the hankering to build another player. Not sure where I could fit him on the team though.

I'm thinking backup linebacker, or maybe a WR.

Thoughts?

Either Safety spot would be OK.We only have 3 real CBs, Special Ned is a special teams specialist.Wu Banger has been inactive since the 21st and will likely be cut so a WR would be WR5A LB would be LB6 and would eliminate the need for CPU at that position. I am not sure how many snaps LB6 is going to get though.

I'll make a safety. Can I be top backup for both safety spots and on special teams, so I get plenty of snaps?

I offered a contract from a team playing today so you could begin earning. We can then swap you to the other team.Plus the bonus comes from a team that can better afford it.

Game starts in half an hour. If you want to play, you need to move.

The Austin Wineswilling Fancy Boys have sold off most their CPUs and need real players. We will offer signing bonuses for players wanting to make immediate upgrades.

I can offer immediate starts for: WR, G, DE, LB, CB, SS, K, P

If you want to create a new player, you can use the signing bonus to raise their Level.

Do any of you know if you can renegoatiate your contract? I signed for a measly $8880 salary before I knew what was going on and now I am a game away from becoming level 3. It was a computer owned team, but recently was bought out by a human.

Also, the new owner has a player on the team, of course the same position I am, TE. Is it easy for a FBG team to trade for me from a human owner? Forgive me for not reading the 30 pages in this thread, I got to 10 and then skipped to here.

Anyone want a QB? Going to go to level 3 tonight. Will boost to 6 if needed to match play level of teammates.

I sent you an offer and you can start in less than 2 hours.
Done. Is this the farm team or the go for gusto team?
I released you and sent an offer form the So Austin Bats. Sorry for the mistake, you'll end up with a double bonus, tho.The Bats are 6-2 and should contend.

All you can do is ask the owner to do the right thing. If you want more money, you have to ask, there is no rule that he has to give you more. If you want off the team to get more playing time most owners will probably accommodate this if you aren't a jerk about it.

I've only been on the team for 2 games, got in for about 25 plays each game. Hard to tell what his strategy will be, but I am sure he will be pumping up his TE to be the stud, thereby leaving me in the lurch.

Signing bonus to raise level? I thought you could only raise levels through flex points....Anyway, I created a WR. His name is Catchy McGrath.

Waiting for a contract offer.

Yeah but it enables you to buy equip and train, which I think will eventually raise your level.

I just started up a CB and am looking to join an active FBG's team. His name is Pepe Swine . If someone shoots me over a contract offer I'd love to join and help win some championships.
