Is there anyone with players on Iowa and Detroit?
Kicker for Detroit, OT for Iowa.
I assume you are not going to partake in strategy discussions for either team since you are privy to the inner workings of both?
I've made this clear multiple times on both team message boards.Look back and see for yourself. I'll be MIA in both. I'll set my sliders to whatever owners want me to, but other than that, I'm out of it.
If the kicker suddenly ends up with a broken leg, I had nothing to do with it.

The Grinnell Pioneers are going to be looking for backups at a few positions next season (starters if you're good enough).

Currently the team is light on FBGs, but we're active and friendly, and I've love to get some FBGs on the team.

We're currently 8-0, playing in the conference championship game.

G - Primary backup, lots of play time

DE - Primary backup at one of the DE positions

DT - could always use more

LB - #4 and #5, maybe even a #6.

Pioneers

Manila Warlords:

We are still in our playoffs march but I would not mind talking to a few players to sign them for next season. Pretty much all backup positions are available.

No problem. I hope my question didn't come across as snarky, didn't intend it that way.

Here is the link for the Det/Iowa game when it starts. It will probably be a good 40 min before the slated start time. Pro games today started 40 min early.

How do you get this link?
Trial and error. I looked at the game # of the last game we played. Then I added 100 to it. It was a game from other teams that was already played. I kept adding 100 until I got to a number where it was a scheduled but unplayed game. Then I worked my way up by 20s then 10s to find the last such game (when you put in a number too high no page will load). Then I worked my way down in increments of 2 at a time until I found it (games within the same league are consecutively numbered so all I had to find was our game or the other game in our league). It only took about 5min.If you are going to do it, use the box score page and not the play by play page. The box score page has the game number at the end of the page address so it is easy to change. The play by play page has the game number in the middle with other stuff after it.

What is everyone seating prices?
They are starting to go way up. I used $100 and $220 for this round and from what I am reading even that is too low. Whoever hosts the championship game should take in over $1M
Are you keeping it the same for next reg season? I now have it set to 60/100 with 0% season ticket discount.
I think we can charge higher for the playoffs. I have no idea where to set them for regular season. All of our tickets were sold out within a few days of me buying the team, I didn't get a chance to play with them to try different levels. Why go for 0% discount?

High demand with such little seating as of now suggests to me that I don't need to offer discounts on tickets at all. Plus, I'm limiting a variable so I can find out exactly what people will buy and what they won't.

What league are you guys in? I'm charging way lower than that, but I have been selling out very quickly. I think I might be charging 40/80 for playoff games? If we win tonight, we host the championship game, so I'll jack the prices up for that, I guess.

I am planning to purchase a team as soon as they become available. I guess I need to read the rules again but, maybe one of you can answer this for me. Can an owner of a team offer incentives to the players if they make certain accomplishments? For example... If a player on my team leads the league in sacks, I would then give them a certain % increase in pay. Is that is allowed?

No, but at any time you can resend them a new contract offer with a signing bonus and the bonus could be the performance bonus. But be careful, because if you are paying them minimum salary their salary will also go up because it will be based on their level.IE If you based their salary with minimum on Lvl 1, and they are now Lvl 6 you will not be able to offer them the same salary, you will have to give him minimum salary for Lvl 6.

Good game. Congrats Detroit and good luck in the final. I was feeling pretty good after the two quick 2nd quarter TD's to Epiphony. That 58 yard TD to McGuffie was huge, caught us on a corner blitz. And then the fumble on the corresponding kickoff was an even bigger play.

Good luck in the final. At least you won one game today. I'm 0-2 with the Manila loss today. Dissappointing.

:hophead:Yeah, the Manilla game stings. Not to beat a dead horse, but we did have too many CPUs on the field. Manilla will dominate next year, I'm certain of that.
