Hey guys, the third FBG team could really use some defensive players. If anyone wants to have a STARTING gig, let me know. Our offense is pretty damn good. We rolled up 459 total yards in our last game, but we dont have very many human defensive players so we arent stopping people that well. I am willing to pay a signing bonus plus 900 per day.

i am a level 2 SS (635/1000)with 1 game under my belt. 4 tackles, 1 touchdown saving. i am cerrently getting $525/day. willy t flyers is my name.

I am going to start Hulk at QB next game until we can find out what is causing all the deflections. I had 5 deflections in 21 passes, to go with a lot last week. Hulk's play sample is too small to really gauge if the problem is me or the WRs not getting separation, both of his TDs were bombs on blown coverage (GOOD VISION) one was a CB blitz. I suspect the problem is either lack of strength or throwing for McLovin, but we will start Hulk to be sure.

Another option is to trade McLovin for $ for stadium upgrades. I put A LOT of points into his special ability, Pocket Presense. I put it to Level 4, which I think took 5 points since it starts to take more points the higher you get.
These are wasted on our team. Our line is dominant. I think only 2 hurries in 2 games. 4 pancakes this game.

I think a lot of our guys put too many points in the special abilities categories and we shouldn't have right away...

i went the other way and only used 1 (on wrap up tackle). liking how my guy looks as he just leveled to 4. he's got no stats but seems to be where he's supposed to be in coverage and doesn't get beat.

On my DT I put a quite a bit into the special abilities and he had 8 tackles for loss in his last game. Not sure what the right balance is in this game yet.

Actually both Hulk's TDs were blitzes.

I (Raistlin Majere) put a lot in mine but I seemed to do pretty well. I only had 1 pass deflection but they didn't attack me much either. I only had one tackle compared to 6 last week when my guy was giving a lot of cushion, I changed to a more close guarded option and I remember seeing my guy getting burned because of it.

Part of it is the right fit. Like I said, my ability would be gold on a team where the line wasn't that good, I would be able to stand up and still get it away. On our team it does nil and the downside is I needed those points on strength and throwing.

I would agree for right now however everyone is playing at a low level now. If you put points in the normal attributes now (bump to level 4 you get ~20 points or something) you add to those through training. Take the time now to train while it is cheap, to bump up the normal attributes and you have your special abilities waiting to get sprung.I loaded up my FS with special abilities and am working on stamina via training and stamina/tackling for equipment. (I had speed for equipment but took those off and bought new) When I reach level 8... after the first season or so I can get more equipment to bump up... possibly make some equipment... and have those special abilities waiting. I will say this though... any more levels I increase will go to normal attributes until I can bump up my guys myself.

Yeah...he looked awesome.I have the starting QB on the Larry's team, and I have had a lot of deflections as well... I have a 15.5 strength, and 17 throwing...plus a bunch of points in the special abilities.I am going to take a look at the more accurate QBs, and then based on what I see I am going to buy a special item and give it +6 in wherever I am deficient, but it looks like it might simply need to go to 'throwing'.

I also have 2 points in turn shoulder to avoid sacks (wasted) and lvl 3 tight spiral (ball is easier to catch) and lvl 2 pump fake (help wr get separation).
Those last two are working well
I levelled up, will put it all on throwing and trade in some stamina equip for throwing. We will see if that makes a diff. , I will still get in as backup nxt game.
If it doesn't help I will trade him to a human player who can use those special skills and get $ for the team.

Well with as much as backups currently play, I still think it's wise to keep McLovin for depth.And yeah, both lines on our squad dominated. We have an advantage in the trenches with just about every team in our conference.

What board?
Which people own teams? If at least 10 teams are owned, and 5 team play on odd days and 5 teams play on even days, it would be possible to trade players in a chain between those teams so that the player could get the experience of playing in a game every day and level up much faster. With a relaxed training schedule overnight, it is likely players could regain enough energy to play everyday. 10 teams would be needed since a player cannot be returned to a team for 10 days after being traded. Just a thought...

Duff Man,I could go here. Get psycho some playing time (we're basically equal in ability) and boost up another fbg team. That or trade psycho. No reason having level 4's on the bench if there's fbg teams w/ need.
