You get less xp with every level.it's a level thing for sure.Anyone know how the xp points work? I had a lvl 2 S get 8.5 points of xp for every play he was in, and I had a lvl 6 C get 6.5. Anyone else a big enough geek to have looked into this?
and they ONLY give points for XP, right? if I have a guy who plays 50 snaps and does nothing, he would get the same amount of XP as if he had 200 receiving yards and 3 TD's?You get less xp with every level.it's a level thing for sure.Anyone know how the xp points work? hmm, well that seems fairly lame. my 3rd string WR is clearly outperforming the 2 guys ahead of him, even with less snaps. but yet, they will continue to accrue more experience.Yes. That's on the owner of the team, then.See this dumb game is so good you even have politics and ineptitude.hmm, well that seems fairly lame. my 3rd string WR is clearly outperforming the 2 guys ahead of him, even with less snaps. but yet, they will continue to accrue more experience.Yes. So.. don't use your 3 flex point level ups until the night before your last game of the season and stamina is very important?hmm, well that seems fairly lame. my 3rd string WR is clearly outperforming the 2 guys ahead of him, even with less snaps. but yet, they will continue to accrue more experience.Yes. Who said its ineptitude? Its not uncommon for the 3rd string and lower players to perform very well if you have a lot of depth on your team. You are facing the other team's scrubs quite often. Fine...it's not ineptitude on the owner, it's just another prima donna wideout who thinks he's the bomb diggity.See how good this game is. Management/Player strife. IWho said its ineptitude? the fact that they actually started a Gold Line Blitz Player's Association. That, right there, is comedy gold, Jerry.Wait... what? This game rewards secret strategies! Aren't we all trying to outthink and outscheme each other here? If you are talking about taking advantage of some weakness in the game's code, that's something else entirelyI'd contact Bort... selling "secret strategies" can't be within the rules of the game...Do you guys see what is going on with the Detroit Demon Lions in AA, owner "The Strategy Expert"? This guy has traded away high level players and got back over $3M this year, preying on new owners who bought their teams late and were throwing around stupid money. Now, because the team is doing so well, he is claiming to have a "secret strategy" that not even the testers have on how to win at this game and he is selling it to new owners. He has already got one owner who is paying him a sizeable "fee" by trading for a CPU player for big bucks. Brutal.I am all for trying to get a competitive advantage, but this guy is taking it a little too far in my opinion. I have a WR on his team, I think I am going to tell the guy to sell me too, I don't want to be involved with this clown.

The game has built in protection systems for that - the message board and pm system allows owners to educate themselves and gauge what deal is acceptable and what deal isn't.But using in game money via shady trade in order to gain that information is not a proper use of the money or the trading system.Wait... what? This game rewards secret strategies! I'm curious what they would fetch. I've traded PMs with Bort about putting one on eBay, but ahve not done it. He said there was no policy forbidding it, but that it would make me unpopular with other owners.Does anyone know how to buy a team? I know when there's available CPU ones, you can buy one for 1000 Flex Points. But how do you buy them from other humans? Is it possible? Thanks.
Me Three. And I thought I was the only oneI ignore the schtick. I don't have a clue who Otis or Woz is, although I see their name around a lot. I read the threads that look interesting, occasionally contribute and ignore the rest. MANY MANY times I have typed out a response in a thread to something I strongly disagree with or find completely moronic. When I read it over before hitting Add Reply I quite literally think to myself, is this a conversation I really care to have with some anonymous guy on the internet? 90% of the time the answer is no, and I close up my browser instead.Oh come on. How can this really bother you with all the bizarre and annoying schtick you've seen around here in the past five years?Even if it is not breaking the rules it is breaking the spirit in which the game is intended. I guess if you can find a sucker......maybe I should do this tooI'd contact Bort... selling "secret strategies" can't be within the rules of the game...![]()

Me 4?Teams have been exchanged between owners. The team I'm on now was acquired by the present owner from a human. I pmed him asking how it was done and he never responded.I'm curious what they would fetch. I've traded PMs with Bort about putting one on eBay, but ahve not done it. Make it one for the thumb. Except I don't usually bother typing out a response. I shrug and move on. Probably because I've been dealing internet idiots for a decade now and know all too well that you'll never ever change their minds: they aren't worth the energy. Just shrug, maybe shake your head, and move on.Me Three. And I thought I was the only oneI ignore the schtick. I don't have a clue who Otis or Woz is, although I see their name around a lot. Are you just looking at your home page?? I know our game yesterday did the same thing, only the game had been played. If you go to the team page it will show the game like normal.Senor Schmutzig said:What's going on with the games not posting? Our 11pm (eastern) game hasn't played, and the clock is running backward.Result isn't on the team page, and my players haven't leveled up.Are you just looking at your home page?? Final regular season gameDo you guys put a lot into special abilities?I just leveled up to 9 but rather then use them all on Special skills (or whatever they are called), I added some strength and tackling and stamina.![]()
I've put a ton in to them so far, mostly on rush defense (I'm a DT).Do you guys put a lot into special abilities?I just leveled up to 9 but rather then use them all on Special skills (or whatever they are called), I added some strength and tackling and stamina.![]()
I did, but I think it would have been wiser to improve base abilities first since most specials enhance or rely on the base stats. No sense in have a level 10 juke move if you have the agility of the last kid picked in dodgeball.Do you guys put a lot into special abilities?I just leveled up to 9 but rather then use them all on Special skills (or whatever they are called), I added some strength and tackling and stamina.![]()
See, and I have stayed away for them, for the most part. I think I have mostly put like 3's across the board for guys. This is one of those things that needs to be figured out to give FBG teams a leg up on the rest of GLB.Anyone see any guys having a ton of success without putting points into the special abilities?I've put a ton in to them so far, mostly on rush defense (I'm a DT).Do you guys put a lot into special abilities?I just leveled up to 9 but rather then use them all on Special skills (or whatever they are called), I added some strength and tackling and stamina.![]()
I just know our Run D is salty and I've got like 4-5-3-2-2 on that. I only net 2 or 3 tackles a game mostly, but when we played Larry Boy (who ran more) I had 7 tackles and they didn't get anywhere on the ground.See, and I have stayed away for them, for the most part. His "breakaway speed" barely got him around the corner. I really enjoyed the slow motion replay of the super human strength.
