My coworker had 10 offers within like 5 minutes of posting in the "looking for teams" forum. He is holding out for a crazy signing bonus as a lvl1 G.I plan to level up my existing players as soon as the new season starts, but in the meantime I've created a couple of rookie OTs and gotten juicy new contracts while the gettin' is good. I plan on building a pair of pancake machines this season from the ground up.
Lack of foresight.Money will become more valuable as features are put into the game. Developers have made that clear already.It's fun to be able to get on a good team and win with most of my players, but I'd like to have one just raking in the money for when that happens.What am I missing regarding the big contracts? My new guys are going to be mercenaries for the first season. And they'll each start for their start-up teams. Making the playoffs this season would be gravy.
Regarding the contract offer, I'm just gonna post my guys and see what comes in. If a FBG wants any of my guys, let me know it's someone from here before I take any other offers.
seems pretty lame not to allow training during the offseason. I was hoping to pack on 15 pounds of muscle and shave 0.2 seconds off my 40 time.

Yeah, it probably wasn't clear but I was attempting to make fun of the guy for calling a speed 16 guy a "speedster". That's offensive lineman type speed.
I have horrid WRs. A lvl 4 WR would start for me (I also need depth if its a non boosted player). I also need a backup DE, and a 5th CB.

We rotate the top six. A LOT. I doubt he can be the starter anywhere you'd want to play (any team starting L4s is going to be VERY weak).But we can give him Playing time on one of our teams, I'm sure. I would love to get a FBG on my team, but the best I can offer you is the #3 CB slot later in the season. Right now I've got lvl 7, 7, 5, 5, 4, 3 at CB, and the two level 5's aren't going to renew their contracts (want to be starters). PM me if you're interested.
