You guys will love this.

She works down the hall from me. Literally.

She doesn't know this, but I thought she looked familiar. This could be interesting.

No, it was last december-january. You just started with your psycho ex.
You broke up 7 months ago and aren't over it yet?!?! :popcorn:And we're talking about a girlfriend, not a wife...This makes Baby Jesus cry.
She was an almost wife and the first girl to make me knowingly do dumb things. It's gonna sting for awhile longer I'm guessing. I am no longer crying myself to sleep at night, so that's nice.

Not really. We won't see each other for about 10 days due to her schedule (Not a bad thing). Right now, I don't see it going anywhere. She is a great person, but the age difference is too much and the sex is below par. Another thing turning me off, is how into me she is, I have asked her to go slow and it seems like she can't. On a totally separate note, I am starting to think I won't find someone on the same level as my ex-wife. Starting to bum me out a bit. Where are all the smart sexy chicks? The last week or so has been rough personally. Father is in the hospital with a collapsed lung, got passed over for a big promo at work and dealing with drama from another ex. Good grief, it's time to try out what Krista is doing. Nothing.Looks like I'll be living vicariously through you guys!!!
:shrug:You gonna give up that easy? If it wasnt hard, everyone would be doing it. You've had great success already, this isnt the time to give up.
Who said I was "giving up"...lol.Not sure how to say this without sounding full of myself. I have never hurt for dates and women. Right now, I think I want to just take a mini-break. Time to simplify my life a bit and then come back and give 150% (as Otis would say). I recently joined a gym and paid for some personal training sessions, something I am really looking forward to. When I come back to the dating scene again it will be to score at will or to meet someone special. Part of this break is to figure that out which is most appealing to me and deal with some of my personal issues (My Dad etc).
 As I stated prior, after being stood up like 3-4 times and the fact I'm still getting over my ex-gf, I quit dating for awhile. Sexually it's gonna hurt though.
This is why you should always have a backup plan.See, you wiggle psycho girl the right way, she could've been yours.
Ha, still can't believe she texted me the other to tell me I missed my chance. However, the ##### is still coming back to bite me. I'm in the holding cell today and this female cop comes over and wacks me over the head. Claims she heard I'm heading to private work and won't be returning. I come back to the office to have lawyers saying the same thing - they are being nice about it but I can tell they're pissed. Turns out psycho told all this to her sister, my co-worker, and she spread it around. Awesome since it's not true.
Nice to see her sister is as emotionally mature as she is....
It's a plausible piece of gossip and am guessing the sister/co-worker was saying it to get people to make me stay. I just spent most of the day with her and she seems normal. Plus you're forgetting she's female and gossips naturally.

I had something similar happen to me...got an eHarmony match, the girl looked familiar but I couldn't place her...then it dawned on me that she's a waitress at this restaurant where we eat every Monday :o ...sadly she's not really my type, though we'd always joked around at lunchtime...so what the hell is the move here? :hifive: ...there's no way I'm initiating dating talk with this girl...if I keep it open and she initiates (based on some secret crush) I've got no easy way out...but if I close her out, I could be equally sunk...I chose the latter, and thankfully she never mentioned it...but I was definitely checking my food for foreign bodies over the next few visits...That was my only marginally scary moment iDating...well that and the girl who I told I was meeting multiple people online and she went off about how she "won't be someone's backup plan"...good times that girl...

Funny, after I posted this I was overcome with this strong feeling of being that older guy hanging around with younger kids, telling stories about his youth, thinking about how cool those stories are, and having all the younger kids just sort of look away awkwardly :loco:

dude the pic link does not work - image shack it - msg looks good - ship it!
Weird. Worked yesterday. Here you go.Still can't believe this chick is 27. She looks and sounds about 10 years younger.
Did she contact on a chat site and tell you she is 13 and to come to her daddies million dollar house on the Jersey shore?Be careful.. :goodposting:
She's on yahoo personals. Says she lives alone, which amazes me. It also says she's looking for a guy who doesn't drink, which doesn't seem remotely possible if she wants him to spend more than 3 minutes with her.Message sent.

That's the kinda problem you want to have GB...If it's looking good drop the recognition that you work in the same building and parlay that into lunch or drinks post work...sounds like an easy close...

Too many problems with dating at work, though.
Oh, I totally misunderstood...you mean she works for your company?...I thought you just meant she works down the hall, like for another company in the same building...I actually always had a no dating coworkers policy...though that didn't stop from twice taking a girl out for drinks on my last day...

Would she recognize you from work?IF not....Tap it the first night and you already have your exit strategy. (I don't date girls from work after you realize where you know her from)

I was talking to a buddy the other day about my iDating experience and he raised an interesting question, how do you answer the "how did you meet?" inquiries...obviously since Mrs. Code and I recently married, we've been asked this a lot...but I'm curious what our current iDaters think...is this something you try to hide or something you broadcast around town?...do you think it matters who the audience is?...is age a factor?...

:X

Got a really nasty message from blondie today...

My favorite part, "I chose to ignore the 'no' you texted me. It just proves what a selfish arrogant ******* you are though."

She hit that pretty spot-on.

Sharing a little message exchange from last night, because I thought it was entertaining.

fetish grrl: i work in tire lube express...stu: how many "express lube" comments have you heard?fetish grrl: well today one guy came in and he was real shy and as i was doing his intake form he says "will you be doing my lube job personally?" and i had to think for a minute to figure out what he was asking me because i used to work at a topless club for a bit... stu: lol. gonna want to hear more about the topless club job...fetish grrl: lol i worked at illusions briefly in february and back in 1999 til 2003 i worked at sinbads both times as a waitress (lol professional tease vs. being a professional slut) stu: i don't know about you, but i'm trying to maintain my amateur status. slut olympics are just around the corner. fetish grrl: lol. well i am really good at teasing but my slut routine could use a little practice...if i could just find a skillful and willing partner to practice with i might just be good at it......

If people ask, The Future Mrs. Pip and I tell them the truth. No one's had a problem with it.

So, Latina girl just called me to invite me to some outdoor shopping thing in town tomorrow afternoon and go to dinner. But then, she's meeting a friend to go to some opera #### that night.

For a review, we've been on two dates, they've been fun, she's very attractive and a riot to be around, but it just hasn't seemed like we've clicked on that level. Nothing physical has happened at all.

Basically, after date #2, I wrote her off, but why is she still pursuing this?

So, Latina girl just called me to invite me to some outdoor shopping thing in town tomorrow afternoon and go to dinner. But then, she's meeting a friend to go to some opera #### that night. For a review, we've been on two dates, they've been fun, she's very attractive and a riot to be around, but it just hasn't seemed like we've clicked on that level. Nothing physical has happened at all.Basically, after date #2, I wrote her off, but why is she still pursuing this?
Please review your sig.
