I thought so too, but the VERY top of the yellow line is actually metal. Or some sort of very hard substance that caused the ball to bounce off very hard. I don't think it was a HR, but I'm not sure. I have HD too.

The ball definitely disappeared on that slow motion replay. Big break for the Pads there.

Agreed..I'm all for more random channels getting big sporting event since that seems to be the only impetus for stupid Time Warner to add more channels to HD. I'm hoping NBC puts next years Olympics on 50 different channels.
