He uttered genius comments like "Vlade will be happy with that" and "All that and next". He also tried to report scores for the weekend games yet didn't have the actual scores. Genius!David Robinson also. He was the co-host of the Hot Spot with Kevin Blanford. He was not a very good broadcaster. Created the "Hey Man, What's Up Rodeo". One of the best stories about him is when he almost got in a fight with an ex-friend of his who had been hired by the Hardline to be an intern. Genius radio especially when Rhynes had to separate him and get him to sit.
I forgot about Kickball Head Folliwell. He was good. As was the Hey Man, What's Up Rodeo as previously noted.

Oh. Some worthless Ticket info:I was driving from Dallas to Austin today. The weather was clear and sunny.I could pick up the 1310 signal pretty well for much longer than I expected. It became extremely staticky in South Waco.
Excellent information. I did it in reverse last week, and was pleasantly surprised. I don't remember getting it that far south before. I stuck with it until I got halfway between Waco and Temple and then had to switch to the Austin station. The best thing is that it saved me from having to listen to the ESPN affiliate in Waco. Think of the worst afternoon drive show imaginable. There's is at least twice that bad.
Not that any of you guys would ever go up there but until about a month ago I used to live up I75 on the Oklahoma side of the border near Lake Texoma - Durant specifically. Corby said he once got addicted to meth just by driving through there - he was right. But I digress - I could get 104.1 up to McKinney +20mi depending on the time of day and 1310 all the way to the border most times. I used to work in the mid-cities and drive back and forth on Mondays and Fridays but as I posted before I hardly get to listen anymore. The (Bohemian) Rant (I don't care about spellin) was the best show ever on the Ticket since I started listening 2.5 years ago. Even my 11 year old daughter used to laugh at that show. How come you can get POS shows that no one cares about like Father Knows Best and Mantix on DVD but The Ticket hasn't put The Rant collection out on CD? As far as the cornhole - I haven't been able to listen but there has to be a GNO comng up - no? <getit?>

Is there an all-night bar in Durant? It seems like we used to go up there when Outlaws in Denison closed for "Outlaws After Hours." Unfortunately, I was so ####### drunk by the time we made it up there, I wasn't sure where I was.

No Durant sucked in all ways dimensional . I was there under significant (and well documented) protest. I now have my life together and live in the Knox/Henderson area. Sounds like a cornhole is in order.Frankie's maybe? :banned:

Big day for our little station today.
No kidding.
So big that I could not get the stream to work for very long after waiting 30 minutes to get it at all :sadbanana: Now that Norm is on - I am out until at least BaD Radio
can't get it to work for me either.... :sadbanana:
you guys aren't missing much. Norm tell us that this thing called Internet helps us get info fast.
I got it now.

Had to turn Norm off. Someone let me know if anything breaks. Otherwise I will come back at 12:00 for Bob and Dan.

sounds like we get a TO press conference for lunch.
This will be a denialfest of the highest order.
Ya think?
The real question will be how the afternoon boys handle the situation after teh press conference. If there was ever a time for Cowboy Creative Control to come into play, this would be it.I would imagine Rhyner is walking around with his Anti-Cowboy weiner at full staff, but he could very well cower down on today's show.

Anybody hear Hansen's comments? Some really insensitive ####. He's a ####### douchestain.
Were they all directed at Jones? I haven't heard them.and yes, he is a ####### douchestain.
Yeah, he basically turned it into an "I told you so" session, ranting about Jones. He also couldn't understand how a multi-millionaire could get depressed.
What's it going to take to get this doosh off the air in Dallas? Can't we trade him to another city for some really hot chick? I don't know anyone who likes him. Maybe he has some dirt on the CEO of Belo. When I was in HS my school district had something called a Management Internship Program where they select 30 or so seniors from across the district and give them a chance to intern at company's in the area. Every Friday we would all go to the Admin building and they would usually bring in a guest speaker. The year before I was in the program they had Dale Hansen come speak. They said they would never ask him back because of the language he used, and they suspected he had been drinking.

He's in the back pocket of someone. He plays cards at Redmans constantly (loses his ### btw) and in the recent "stings" they haven't been hit yet. And anyone who is anyone knows where that place is.

Figures. The guy basically owns Waxihatchie (however you spell the place), and has become a cartoon of himself. His hatred for the Cowboys, and every other owner in town, not to mention any college not Nebraska, makes him just a horrible listen. Getting rid of him was the best move KTCK has made in a long time. Even the Old Grey Wolf will tell you that his two hours a week were the worst hours on the Ticket.

:fishing: If not, that makes two people in the world. You and Mrs. Hansen.

Why didn't Big Bill just cancel today's press conference? Obviously all any of them want to talk about is TO. Did he think they were going to ask who would handle the kickoff duties this week? :wall:

Bogart said:
If anyone can find out what Friedo's HSO was, I would be greatly appreciated.
I heard from a little birdie that it was - Something about TO and Byron Nelson having a murder-suicide pact
