***Official*** Monday Night Football Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Pretty amazing run by the Eagles right now. Three road division games and to win all three is inconceivable. Especially without the star player. And to think 4 weeks ago, some people were actually insisting that AJ should be the starter and Andy Reid should be fired. Now those same people want to trade McNabb and keep Garcia as the starter!! Too funny. Anyway, a merry christmas to all fellow Eagles fans with a big win!!!!! Let's keep it rolling!

I've contended for 5 years that McNabb was the problem. His chokes, poor game management, and NEVER leading a WR killed the O and the D. Now finally (calm down all you McNabb to the HOF people) we see the other side. Aint it nice.....
I agree...Garcia has an intensity and energy that McNabb just doesn't have. I wonder what team will end up with Garcia next season. As he proved when he played in Cleveland, he's not capable of taking a bad team and making it better. If he has talent around him then he definitely has the experience and smarts to manage the team.

I would be absolutely stunned if Garcia wasn't an Eagle next year. This system fits him perfectly and he's got a very good shot at starting next year. Given his age and absolutely dreadful performance in non-traditional WCO systems, combined with his success and the Eagles deep pockets, I think the Birds #1 priority this offseason is giving him a multi-year deal (something along the lines of 3-year, $20mm) to keep him in Philly.
