Meh. The NFL turned the draft from one my favorite weekends of the year to something I really just don't care much about anymore. I'll watch it tonight, probably flipping back and forth between this and TruTV, to see the Bills selection, but then I'll go to sleep. I doubt I'll watch more than a few minutes here and there of the rest of it.

It's like I don't even know you anymore. :sadbanana:Sure it's not as fun as it was when it was two days over the weekend. But 50% less awesome is still awesome when you start out mega-awesome.

Except the format now allows for far more trade discussions between teams. But I did prefer a 12 hour Sunday.

I don't know, I'm loving the Primetime angle. Looking forward to heading to the bar with friends for some wings and beer and rolling into work a little late tomorrow. :banned:

:lmao: I also really hate the new OT rule, but I'll save that for another day.

So psyched! Don't know how anyone could hate on the draft. Watch your team shape their future! Awwwww yeah!

And watch whatever WR Jacksonville drafts plummet in fantasy value!

Browns trade up to #3 spot. Word is they're taking Richardson.

I still care about it-a lot- but I agree with you basically. Draft got kind of ruined by moving it to thurs primetime. It's not like you can enjoy a few or several liquid refreshments when you have to work the next day and get up early.

That's just not true. I intend on proving you 100% wrong and drinking more then one adult beverage tonight.

BAH!This draft has been crazy fun so far with all this trading!

Jags moved up pretty cheap, just a 4th round pick. I wonder if Rams wanted Blackmon, you'd think they might pay more than that to move up 1 spot to make sure they get him if they did.

I wouldn't have, but have to wonder.

My favorite part is the part where the commissioner spends a bunch of time mugging for the cameras while the next 2-3 picks are coming in.

I guess they're happy to wind up with Claiborne, so they were unwilling to give up more.

St. L now has 3 picks in the top 45. This to go along with the kings ransom they are holding in next years draft. My, this team had better be good in 2-3 years.
