***Official NLCS Thread: Giants vs. Cardinals (1 Viewer)

Well, time to switch over to MNF. If the red birds somehow close the gap I guess viewership will pick back up. Was hoping this game would be close. :sadbanana:

I'm not counting this game over until it's the end of the 9th. SF > Washington, but STL is like a bug that won't die

This Cardinals team is the worst fielding major league team I've seen in years, and I watched 150 Tigers games this year.
:goodposting: I think I commented earlier in the thread about how sloppy the Cards were and that they couldn't possibly continue that throughout the series. They have. Never seen a team look so inept in the field that the Cards during this series.

What a complete disappointment. Congrats to Giants fans, two great comebacks. Having that kind of postseason is so much fun to root for.

Even worst that it at least couldn't be an exciting game 7. Seems since Lynn hit the second base bag, things never were the same. Still a great run for the Cards and they provided some amazing moments yet again.

Well, the clock has struck 12 on the Cards. GL in the WS, Giants. Not sure who I'll pull for yet. Both franchises have suffered for a while now.
 Uh the Giants won the whole thing 2 years ago. But before that, us Giants fans suffered a lot

I acknowledged that I forgot about that. Was doing about four things at once.Still supporting the Tigers, even though Hunter Pence may kill me and eat my liver for it.

I'll echo this post. Disappointing finish, but still an exciting run.

Enjoy the WS Eephus - I'll be pulling for the NL team - hope they can get the pitching lined up properly after going 7. I'd be testing the Tiger pitchers in the field - 2006 they were a mess.

What amazes me is that here in Denver Scuturo was completely useless. Some are of the belief he played his way out of here on purpose. Can't believe the Cards couldn't get that guy out.

And it was a heck of a run with the cards - it would have been nice to have a healthy team - but props to the Cards who stepped up. Hopefully everyone gets well in the offseason and they get this rolling once again.
