***Official NLCS Thread: Giants vs. Cardinals (1 Viewer)

I'm at the game and it still hasn't let up. But, I've heard from some that it should end soon and can start shortly after.

Place was electric on that homer and has been buzzing since.

I like how the Yankees-Tigers thread has 800 more replies than this one even though the series is essentially over. All this one had tonight was, me, Eephus, and cameos by two guys who had the over 2 hr, 40 minute rain delay prop

Missed the end of the game. Kept checking back, but it was still delayed, then all of a sudden I check and its over. Oh well, Giants lost anyways :(

I think that had to be the longest rain delay ever!

I don't know how they do it, but the Cards keep winning these games they should be losing. I'll take it though. Huge game in this series, in my opinion.

Great win today/tonight. Four of us went and stuck it out during the long rain delay. And it was worth it. The place was electric once the game got going again.

Part of defending the "Best Fans in Baseball" title requires that we attentively watch each and every pitch of these games. Can't be bothered by message board banter when our focus may very well be the difference in the outcome. ;)

Too bad this game time start puts the SF sports fan in a dilemma tonight
There seemed to be a lot of NY Giant fans at the game Sunday when the SF Giants were playing at 5. I hope this isn't a similar situation because it's a must win for the 49ers too

Maybe Lincecum would be better if the Giants trotted out a reliever in the 1st inning, then Lincecum comes out of the pen for the remaining innings.

I was confused by the logic in using him as a reliever, since during the regular season it felt like he gave up a minimum of 1 run every single 1st inning. Now that we're out of the first inning, Lincecum should settle in a bit, but I am still nervous.
