So for the OU fans how many losses will OU get this season (before bowl game)?
They can win every game on their schedule. That's all that matters.
You honestly think they'll win every game on their schedule? Come on now you wouldn't be saying this if it wasn't OU.
First, I said they can win every game. Not that they would. It serves no purpose to make any predictions.Second, you asked about OU, what team did you want me to answer the question about? Now one for you since you like silly little games. Do you honestly believe there is a team on OU's schedule that you can guaranty will beat them?

No guarantees in life. That said I can't see how OU is going to go undefeated this season. I want to know from the people who live and die by this team how many losses (if you think they'll lose) they'll have this year.

And I want to know what fuels your fascination about something that is irrelevant.

Stoops on Whaley:

On Dominique Whaley:

"His (physical testing) numbers are very similar to Adrian Peterson. He is a powerful guy. We will see where it goes from here, but we are very excited about the things he has been doing. We hope that he continues to do what he is doing. He is not on scholarship at this point. In our eyes Dominique is a starter, but so is Brennan Clay."

Junior DE David King

On being No. 2 in the AP poll:

"It really doesn't matter. But, if you look at the way they've (LSU) played, they're a pretty good ball club. I mean, it is what it is. I don't care as long as we're number one at the end of January 9."

Also don't feed the trolls please.

Looks like OU has found its 3rd WR. Hello, Jaz Reynolds.
I hated him last week. It seemed like everything he did was wrong. It was really nice to have Stills back this week - he made some sick catches in this game. Then again, catch of the night goes to Jefferson when the Ball ST QB threw it away and thought nobody could get to it. Incredible play by Jefferson on that ball.He didn't do much tonight with Stills back, but I'm excited for Kameel Jackson. He seems very fast out there. In other news I still love Dominique Whaley and think he does everything better than Clay. Everything. Especially his balance. He again made a couple plays for 3-8 extra yards purely by keeping his balance when he got hit around the legs.

:lmao: Look - I could see us losing at an undefeated Oklahoma State team that's also in the top 5 in the last game of the year. Other than that, I can't imagine not beating everyone else on this schedule...the only games anybody I know has been worried about are/were FSU, OSU, and then mildly about Texas - never know what will happen in a rivalry game. You can't even see a possibility for us going undefeated? Did you apply to OU when you were in high school and get rejected or something? :lmao: Talk about trolling...

Also, note how he said we "can win every game" on the schedule....reading comprehension please.

I still don't like him - you watch the Cowboys-Redskins game on MNF? When Romo yelled at Ogletree after the goal line play? Landry threw his hands up at Jaz once or twice...I could be wrong - but I am not a big fan of the guy so far. I wish like hell Trey Franks would be unsuspended...

I don't understand why the Oklahoma/Texas game is not on 7pm central for the game of the week on ABC. Scheduled at noon and the prime time game is Ohio State vs Nebraska? :X

Yeah, totally screws me and my soccer schedule with the kids.I predict a Texas win. UT homer here but I don't think much of landry jones. Our defense with confuse him and expose his weaknesses, the Longhorns will keep the defense on its heels with multiple sets and misdirection. I haven't looked at line yet. Guessing ou -4, I will take a big bet on the money line on the Longhorns.

I knew this would happen eventually. Our schedule is too weak, the SEC as a whole is too good and get's so much love from the media that all other conferences are considered beneath them.I do agree that LSU should be #1 because they've destroyed everyone, even "good" opponents. I don't understand why Bama jumped us just for beating Florida, that's shameful. The only thing OU can hope for now is that we win out and the SEC beats each other up and we slide back into 1st or 2nd to make the title game.

I live in SEC country, a lot of people think that any team representing the SEC in the title game will have one loss. Thus starting the unnecessary debate about an undefeated Stanford or Boise as happens every year.

Instead of paying 900k to Ball St for an easy win you guys should have scheduled someone a bit tougher. Seriously, Ball freaking State?

You're looking at the AP Poll here. I feel like a broken record but who cares about the AP Poll? OU wins out and everything will take care of itself. This poll has absolutely nothing to do with the BCS at all.

People see that ou isn't as good, they move down, they see a loss coming. It will happen, they will be exposed. Normally polls don't act like this at the top, but it is glaring.

Yea, ou just isn't as good as people thought before season. It's ok. Just the way things are.
Undefeated with a big road win vs FSU and they aren't as good as people thought? Sure makes perfect sense. With LSU deserving of the #1 ranking and Bama winning a big road game at UF while OU played Ball St of course they will move ahead in the polls. When OU rolls the Horns Saturday then they will likely jump Bama again. Have a feeling we won't be seeing you around much after Saturday. You have made some fine contributions to this thread though.

Why do you think that when UT was one of the worst teams last year and it took a fumbled punt to secure a win last year?

Because OU beat UT 65-13 in 2003.

Nice win at fsu on a rowdy sat night. Not an easy task. Another team beat fsu too, an unranked clemson team. It's good you feel good about it, I am happy for you.I see 4 wins vs unranked opponents, yeah, fsu shouldn't be there, obvious to me, maybe not to some. Sorry to break it to you. I am adding enough to this thread to try to show you the light. It's your choice whether you want to look at it. No one has refuted what I said. Just giving opinions, with merit. You should try to get some.

Unranked Clemson? Just a little off there. Keep those contributions with merit coming.

I don't get why the poll matters right now anyway - it's just people who dislike OU for one reason or another trying to find a way to needle us...

Bottom line: If we go undefeated, we go to the National Championship Game. There's also a decent chance we go undefeated. That's really all that matters...

OU -10. It was -9.5 yesterday.

With all that has happened this year so far... The conference realignment debacle, the loss of ground in the AP poll... I hope that if Stoops has the chance he runs up the score in a Lupica whine inducing fashion.

It's all you got, so cling to it. landry jones will be exposed for what he is along with the rest of your the team. It will be fun. bodog won't let me do a ML bet yet, loving the spread. Should be about +500. I went ahead and put 4 units on the Horns +10, heck why not take points when it comes to $$$. I will be betting more on the ML when it comes out. Lovin it. :banned:

Why would UT need luck? They were god awful last year and OU barely won. Hell Baylor and most other teams killed UT but OU had to rely on a fumbled punt to secure the win.

Beginning of season, OU fans:

"WE ARE #1 BABY!!!"

Now:

"Look all that matters is if we go undefeated, we'll get into the championship game."

No way in hell those schmucks are going undefeated and win a championship this year.

Why do you think last year is relevant?
1. I agree2. Didn't we absolutely beat the living hell out of Baylor, or am I making that up?3. Why is Goggins in here anyway? Unable to get accepted back when he was a HS junior? His ex an OU grad? I don't get it... He's kind of just being a richard. repeatedly. Is that just his schtick?

Why do you think UT needs luck then? Last year OU was on paper much better and UT was a lot worse than this year. No guarantees year to year but OU at their best couldn't put away one of the worst UT teams of late so why the confidence from OU fans doesn't make any sense.

:lmao: I don't think OU turns people down when applying to their college. I grew up disliking OU like most Texans. Shocker.

Why do you think last year is relevant?
1. I agree2. Didn't we absolutely beat the living hell out of Baylor, or am I making that up?

3. Why is Goggins in here anyway? Unable to get accepted back when he was a HS junior? His ex an OU grad? I don't get it... He's kind of just being a richard. repeatedly. Is that just his schtick?

I'm from Texas  Edit: and you avoided the question - why do you keep coming in here? Some sick sense of enjoyment from trolling? Why don't you stick to the whole "Women are evil, I hate my life, they'll steal everything from you because they're all #####es" schtick you usually do?

Okay 4 unranked wins. They two decent ones were uninspiring. feel good about it. Truly exposed this weekend. You heard it here, although maybe not the first one.
Were you talking about your own team there, Longhorn man? I feel like you guys couldn't decide if it was better to let our offense take the field or yours...since we scored just as much with our defense on the field. Case McCoy and David Ash ought to have the "sack-fumble" patented...good Lord they look bad when compared to a 1st round prospect like Landry.5-0: KState on the road, some revenge against A&M, and then the toughest game of the year at Ok. State.
