Anyone want to hook me up with a mix of Jay-Z, Black Thought, Joell Ortiz, Phonte, Sean Price over some 9th and Buckwild production with Mary on the hook? Been trying to come up with something and have failed miserably.

You, sir, are a mother fn genius. I was second guessing my MJB pick, but she ties everything together perfectly. Good job!!!
Yep, Bonesman doing the lord's work here.

Vinyl single with a Murda Ma$e acapella will run me $60.

Just saw a flyer where 9th wonder and Freddie Gibbs are doing a show in Memphis in a couple of weeks. Might have to check that out.

I draft :

Adrock, MCA, Mike D, Pete Nice, MC Serch as my 5 MCs

Denny "Blazin'" Hazen as my wildcard

Any two caucasian producers as my producers. You guys tell me, I have no clue. Pick any 2.

I call the act Whitewash, and we sell 50,000,000 albums worldwide over 2 decades.

In all honesty, I think Everlast would have been a pretty good flex for one of you guys. He has some talent as a rapper, plus I kinda like his singing voice for hooks.

He was pretty nice especially during his days with Ice T and the Rhyme Syndicate:

Speaking of white producers, I forgot about T-Ray. He produced songs for an assortment of artists we've all heard of: Cypress Hill, MC Serch, Double XX Posse. His best album credits are the debut Artifacts LP which he did about 2/3 of the production for.

Wrong side of da tracks is class-SICK!.

The one thing to be mindful of is some rappers start on the 1 and some start after. This is why Jada and Redman sound off beat here.

We need another hip hop draft. PRONTO.
IN(Although it would be interesting to see who you guys would draft if you could only draft rappers that were active from say....1995 and on.)
Most rappers that were active in the golden age are still active today, they just don't get much publicity.
Agreed. I had tix to go see Hit Squad last week and passed them up since my son decided to be born on the same day 5 year ago. Damn him!I do have tix to go see Slaughterhouse at the end of March. Can't wait for that one!

agree, active is too subjective.I think we need to fix the producer section though. The suggestion of a production "group" (e.g. Bomb Squad) taking up two slots makes sense IMO.
