Official " REALLY, C'MON NOW" THREAD (1 Viewer)

Both teams have a shot at the playoffs this year. The Lions have an outside shot at the division. You don't get to pick your opponents. Yes KC is bad, but every year there are teams that finish 10-6 by feasting on mediocre to bad teams.
The Bills have to playThe Eagles = Automatic loss(If Vick Is Healthy)

The Cowboys= Automatic Loss(If Romo Is Healthy)

See Tom Brady Twice= Automatic 2 losses

Play The Jets twice= 2 losses

The Charges= Automatic loss

The Lions Have to play

The Bears Twice

The Packers SB champs Twice

The Falcons

New Orleans

The Chargers

Dallas Cowboys
Automatic losses? Um...no. Might want to consider listening more and speaking less.
If the qbs on those teams are healthy then yeah
Out of those tough 8 games, the Lions will win at least 4. I think they sweep the Bears, take one from the Packers, and beat the Cowboys and Chargers. I would bet anyone anytime that the lions win at least 10 games.
That might be the first time in 20 years I've ever heard someone said that.

With all of these tough teams and "automatic losses" on the respective schedules, we'll get to see over the course of the season just how much "for real" both of these teams are. If nothing else, there are some good bumping opportunities for this thread.

As a Bills fan, I fully expect the team to lose this weekend.

I also expect Fitzpatrick to have a better fantasy day than Brady as Buffalo's run D will get eaten alive by Woodhead early and the Law Firm late.

Should be close prior to a 4th quarter chokejob and at least Cincy's self-destruction yesterday should make it easier for the team to take Week 4 barring Bernard Scott going INSANE and pulling a circa-2009 Jerome Harrison on them.

I think the lions have the fire power to keep with any of those teams we can bump this thread again when they face off with a good team but I have no doubts they are a legit team this year

I wouldn't disagree with you. I better not -- I've got four Lions in my starting line-up most weeks(Stafford, CJ, Lions D/ST, Hanson).

I Don't think that the Pats are going to run that well against the Bills. They may because of the spread offense, but I think that Dareus and Meatball will keep that from happening too much. Losing Hernandez really hurts their ability to spread out the LBs as much and give them a dual threat in the run/passing game.If anything, I think it would be the other way around. The Pats will throw a ton to try to establish a big lead early and then run the ball. Either way, I doubt they rack up a ton of rushing yards.

Not that I think the Bills are going to the superbowl or even the playoffs (though they do look like playoff contenders now). It's that we Bills fans very seldom get the opportunity to hand out bumps like this, so we have to seize advantage of these chances.

You kind of suck at this don't you?

NEXT!Let's see, the Bills GET to play a Patriots team that they already beat once; a Jets team that just lost to the Raiders (who the Bills beat last week); most likely a Vick-less Eagles team that can't stop the run, pass, or opposing pass rush; a mediocre Cowboys team riddled with injuries, and a Chargers team that beat the Chiefs by about 30 less points than the Bills despite Charles playing against Buffalo.

As a Bills fan, this is the point where I am required to state that I don't really think the Bills will win all those games, but that schedule isn't nearly as impossible as you would have us to believe.

Is it ok for us Bills fans to come out of the closet now?

Personally, I think the Bills are a playoff contender.. Next week we'll be bombarded with endless Bills commentary, analysis, stories, and interviews. Expect to see some old school Kelly clips, maybe a Levy interview.. Not sure how long this will last but I'm enjoying it and plan on soaking it all up..

Underdog story..

All I know is that I really can't wait for the Bills/Eagles tilt in 2 weeks.
I'll take "Things You'd Never Thought You'd Hear In Your Lifetime" for $200, Alex.

There is failure. There is EPIC failure. And then there is this thread - perhaps meant as a PSA regarding the dangers of eating paint as a child :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: How are "YOUR" Eagles doing so far? The Lions and Bills are 8-1 combined - or, they have as many losses combined as the Eagles have wins! I mean REALLY, C'MON NOW?!??!?! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Detroit is dangerous. I would not be surprised to see them split games with gb. As a matter of fact, didn't detroit beat gb last year? Without Stafford?
Yeah they did it was the game Rodgers got a concussion and left on a cheap shot play from SUH if i can recall. Lions won though. But Rodgers didnt play the whole game. This was also way before Rodgers started getting hot.
Your recall is pretty bad. Rogers scrambled for a long run and did not slide. He was tackled cleanly and was not even hit that hard and Suh had nothing to do with it. Other than that...
In addition to the fact that Suh had nothing to do with the play, it was in Week 14 in mid-December - when exactly did Rodgers start "getting hot"? :hophead:

Im glad the lions and bills got there automatic losses against the eagle's and bears out of the way.

This thread was worth the 10 minutes of reading through. Now let's hope the OP comes back to try and defend his automatic losses.
