Rich Rollins (1938-2025)

The bespectacled third baseman for the AL champion 65 Twins club was also an inaugural member of the Pilots and the Brewers. He started off strong earning AL MVP votes in his first two seasons (62 and 63) but his career was derailed by recurring hip and knee injuries. He lost his starting job midway through the pennant winning season and was a utilityman for the next five years.

Randy Moffitt (1948-2025)

Right handed reliever who spent most of his twelve-year MLB career with the Giants. His better known little sister played some tennis.

Moffitt was a closer in the years immediately before the role was revolutionized by Bruce Sutter and manager Herman Franks. Had he come up a few years later, he would have exceeded his 96 career saves.
