I might be able to vouch for this if I hadn't spent $1500 to fly myself to Columbus specifically to visit you following your promise of Russian women flowing like wine, only to be abandoned after I asked you to buy the first beer.I never do. Never ever ever in my whole life.I might exaggerate on occasion. How do you get "calling for her head" from the above posts?2 hours between picks and they're calling for her head already. Tough crowd. You have my permission.I'm ready to go but I don't want to steal Early's spot if there's no time limit today.
It will but with any luck, we'll be nearly done by Friday and can work on a write up. Pretty sure we managed the actor draft in 5 days. The no clock today was to give everyone today to catch up on the rules/guidelines.my apologies, I thought the no clock applied to the weekend.
Are there, in fact, 12 possible choices in these two categories?boss/supervisor (this must be boss of one of the 4 mains)
crazy family/in law (again of the 4 mains)
Thank you Smoo for your wonderful contributions. How would you have worded it? :takingnotes:If there are only 4 bosses, and only 4 in-laws, how are all 12 people going to fill those categories?

Yes, more than enough family members but I added inlaw so that a few more could be included. I'll be lienient if someone wants that to be a girl/boyfriend of the 3 mains (excluding Jerry since his gf is already a category).Boss/supervisor... I think we can get 12 from George alone. Are there, in fact, 12 possible choices in these two categories?boss/supervisor (this must be boss of one of the 4 mains)

It's doable. More than doable if people are creative enough with it.It's not a question of wording, it's a question of possible.Thank you Smoo for your wonderful contributions. So you say that you may occasionally exaggerate, huh? Good question. For example, many of the episodes are named after a certain item, food, shtick, etc. So, can someone choose the "[insert food item here] Episode", and then someone else choose that food item for the food item category?another question: If someone/thing is drafted in one category, are they/it still eligible to be drafted under another category?
I suggest mentioning both since the voters will likely recognize one more than the other depending on the guest star. Things can be drafted in 2 categories in the example of episode vs food item or inanimate object but not in terms of drafting jerrys gf and then drafting the the same as guest star, kwim? We'll play it by air and I'll be as flexible with it as I can without allowing too much duplication.question: Is the "guest star" mean the actor/actress that guested or the character that was played?
We'll play it by air
ear?I'm sure you are well aware that my accent allows for air and ear to sound the same. Therefore, since I've never actually written that before (although I say it all the time) I have no idea which it is. Please educate me. And please give the origin of the phrase so I am sure to understand and absorb it's application. We'll play it by air![]()
"Play it by ear". Musical reference. You don't have the sheet music in front of you, so you do your best to remember how the tune is supposed to sound and sort of make it up as you go. Now a larger expression to indicate any kind of improvisation.ear?I'm sure you are well aware that my accent allows for air and ear to sound the same. Ok. Was gonna try and pull a fast one and draft Elaine as a gf.I suggest mentioning both since the voters will likely recognize one more than the other depending on the guest star. I would never even ask this of another poster, but just since you're the resident grammar expert....Shouldn't it be "possibility" instead of "possible"?It's not a question of wording, it's a question of possible.Thank you Smoo for your wonderful contributions. How would you have worded it? :takingnotes:If there are only 4 bosses, and only 4 in-laws, how are all 12 people going to fill those categories?

And empty your inbox. TIA.I will pick very soon. I just checked in for the first time today.
JMHO- I think you should specify how you intend to use them when you draft them, but I don't think it should be binding until the draft is over. Are F Costanza and Peterman being drafted as "characters" or "family" and "boss", respectively? I didn't see the designation in either post.
This sounds fine to me. Give the category but changes later arent a big deal.JMHO- I think you should specify how you intend to use them when you draft them, but I don't think it should be binding until the draft is over. Are F Costanza and Peterman being drafted as "characters" or "family" and "boss", respectively? Is that "how" it goes? Didn't know. Just asking.I don't have to decide "what" Frank Costanza is until the end. Sorry folks. Thems the breaks.
Yes "it" is. No problem. I'm a veteran of these types of drafts. Is that "how" it goes? Didn't know. Just asking.I don't have to decide "what" Frank Costanza is until the end. Sorry folks. Thems the breaks.

Character, otherwise it would be an actor/actress draft. Just what I thought.question: Is the "guest star" mean the actor/actress that guested or the character that was played?
