Ok, building a new house set to be done right before Thanksgiving. I've decided to do some home automation but I'm a newbie at best. 

Ease of use will be important but expandability will be imperative. I am a Google guy through and through. With that being said Walmart is having a Google week and if you are going to take the small plunge into smart home, this is a great place to start. Couple that with Amazon Prime on Monday and Tuesday and baby you got a stew going.

So what are some tips and tricks to get me started. I really believe in buying right the first time and expanding as you go.

1. Doorbell

2. Smart Lock

3. Robot Vacuum

4. smart washer and dryer

5. Some lighting including strips under the cabinets

6. Smart Things sensors for various uses

That is kinda my starting list off the top of my head.
